  1. That was only part I of the story. Still got more parts. Part II: The following week, they sent the wrong colour scheme again. We rejected the delivery..... again. We called the dealer, the dealer apologized profusely to us. He promised he would personally go down to the factory to check on our bed. Okay, fair enough. Then one day before, we contacted him again, and he promised us that he really did go down to the factory to check. Part III: Last Saturday was the new delivery date. We were all pumped up about getting our new bed after TWO FAILED DELIVERIES. And what do you know..... WRONG COLOUR SCHEME AGAIN!!!! And this time when we tried to contact our dealer, he evaded all our calls. And when we contacted his colleague, the fella explained that our dealer never actually went down to the factory..... all he did was to call the factory and get a verbal assurance from them. Ah hello..... 'Personally going down to the factory' is not the same as 'call the factory', okay? In the end, I gave up on my dealer and went through another person. Now they promise they will send me the right bedframe tomorrow. Seriously, I am feeling very cynical. They already screwed up three times..... want to take any bets about whether they will screw up a fourth time?
  2. My negative experience with Aafrenz. Long post, bear with me.... I bought a custom-made storage bed for $1400 from them. I thought their price was good, and the workmanship at the showroom was good enough. Boy I was wrong. They promised delivery within two weeks. One week before delivery, they called and asked me for one-week extension. I thought, okay, fine, so long as they can deliver the goods well. The night before the new delivery date, they called and said they can come around between 1-4 pm. I asked if they can come in the morning, but they said they couldn’t, so I said, ok, fine, 1-4 pm…. At 9 am on the morning of the delivery, one guy called me and asked whether they could come in the morning. I was happy to hear that, so I said yes. He told me he would call be back as soon as they had loaded the vehicle. Once I put down the phone I quickly scrambled to tidy up my room for the workmen to work in. I waited until morning turned to noon, and I heard nothing from them. I called the fella, and he said he was not sure at what time the delivery would come. I berated him badly for not calling me earlier to inform me of this change, and asked him to call the deliverymen to ask them for the delivery timing. He said they didn’t have their handphone number. Uh…… WHAT?!?!?!? At this point I was so angry I hang up on him. One second longer on the phone, and I would have cursed him to kingdom come. So I waited until 5 pm. And of course, as you may guess, the delivery people didn’t show up. We called them, and now they said that the deliverymen would come at 6. 6 o’clock came. And we waited….. until they finally showed up at 6.15 pm. Okay, fine, they already wasted my whole day, so what’s another 15 minutes? And guess what? They delivered the wrong colour scheme. We called the shop to complain, and the guy on the phone told the deliverymen to pack up and leave. The guy then told us that he would consult his boss tomorrow and get back to us on this matter. Right now I’m extremely cynical about whether anything good is going to come of this. I’ve already wasted one day of my life to them, and I already have white hairs on my head. I can demand them to take back wrong goods, but I cannot get a refund for my life. Bottom line: if you value your life and happiness….. stay away from Aafrenz.
