The most expensive thing in the house now

Tiles choosen for living room $4 psf.. Resembles marble? Love the whiteness.. Some $3++ is greyish white.. To have wood skirting, I need to top up $300-400.. Worth it? I can't stand the look of tile skirting but it's free. Contractor quoted me $15 psf I think? Hmmmm. Unreasonable pls shout to me! But I think it shd be standard rate?

It's the best wood like I've seen. Those above >$10 can't hold a candle! Thought of doing in my mbr but I left with 10% walking space after bed and wardrobe hence I didn't spend on it

Super nice wood tiles! I almost chose this but didn't have the budget for >$8psf, and settle with evorich vinyl floor instead. I thought tiles would have obvious grout lines, but yours don't seem to have obvious lines? Makes me so jealous 😜

Not good workmanship. And unevenness in tiles - yes, true but very minimal .. Not until everywhere is uneven.. Hence it's their prob. Skirting is not right too.... Haiz

Thanks I got it, but just give it a miss..My dog urine on floor all the time, it's v acidic so I don't think laminate is suitable ;(
