  1. Hm, what is air cleaner? Those kind of scented air freshener? I have wiped it a few times with a wet cloth already, I guess I shall try detergent..
  2. update: almost three weeks later of cleaning and opening wardrobe doors to ventilate, there is still a smell, although it doesn't hurt my eyes anymore. :curse:
  3. hello, a while ago we got some built-in wardrobes installed. they give off a very strong chemical smell that irritates the eyes (i gather it is formaldehyde). i opened the wardrobes and blasted the fan at it for a while and thought the smell went away... but after closing it for a few days, the smell is back :( my first question, is there a good way to get rid of this 'plastic' smell? since it's built in, i can't really take it outside to air it. and opening it all the time stinks up the room because it's quite a big wardrobe.... next, the smell is honestly pretty bad and i'm not sure how safe it is. anyone had experience on testing for formaldehyde in the air? ty in advance
