Oh, so that will be the exact look of just those exact number of tiles used? I thought it was a sample group of the entire floor area. If so, I'd go for right most. Mine might be out in next month's H&D mag, fingers crossed

Gap for the 1st, seal with silicone/sealant usually. But the 2nd one, I believe there's supposed to be edging. I forgot the term my contractor used

I used them for framing prints and paintings. Personally feel they are professional, cost wise didn't really do comparison quotes previously, but remember to bargain.

Can also consider the Mistral one - it's avail at Best Denki - it's bronze tone is more natural looking than the Iona one, imho.

I've seen those valves at some of those hardware stores along Jln Besar which also carry piping and joints. Didn't ask the price though. Had considered doing up a clothes rack with them -

Actually why is he even proposing shalex or laquer (which don't work well on brick surface by the way), since it will also serve to further seal in the look. I thought the point should be to remove the excess cement on the bricks?

Ah I see what you mean. I'm not sure if it's industry practice to smear the cement all over the brick and 'wipe up after' 'cos In my case, using craftstone, we don't have this issue (we use grey 'bricks'). Not sure how the overall theme is, but you can also consider whitewashing the entire brick wall, though it would significantly change the look you obviously initially had in mind

I know it really boils down to personal taste but I do somewhat feel that the effect of the striking blue wall takes away a fair bit from the overall theme. Perhaps a grey instead? Nonetheless, love the fittings you have and looking forward to seeing your home progress along!
