yeah i was told that it might go away when they r older or be more in control cos they know what they r allergic to and how to deal with. but at the moment im concerned abt the meds or a possible wrong diagnosis.

i guess the real question is HOW TO PREVENT THESE BUGS FROM COMING IN THE FIRST PLACE?? how ah??? plus how do u know its bed bugs??? can see???

my 2 yr old just diagnosed with asthma...so sad but relieved at same time cos finally we know what is wrong. always coughing...sometimes untill he ends up wheezing. now im worried if the meds he is taking got side effects or not. everyday must take preventer inhaler. i hope someone can help...i need support

yeah initially i didnt like the idea of open concept as i have small kids n like to have a door at kitchen entrance so safer as i can close the door when cooking or when food is on the stove. i think open concept kitchen is not such a safe idea when u have little kids around. but now im confused lor...the kitchen design that i like was displayed as open concept at ikea. so if i do decide to do that, then will put up baby-safe gate to prevent them from entering actually my current kitchen is not tiled....and it looks very nice. tiled only where there is wet works and cooking area....the rest are painted glossy to match tile colour. it is seriously very nice. i guess it depends on ur design n kitchen layout. if i were to make my kitchen like my mom's kitchen now, i will spend a bomb...just 10k on kitchen alone.

if i were to purchased the flat im currently considering, then i have to make it open concept cos the owner already broke down the wall. so my qn is will that cause house to smell when u cook....i cook everyday. will it be cheaper to reconstruct a wall or put up cabinets there and deal with smell??

yeah i fi were to get a 4 rm then i will hack one bedroom wall but if i get 5 rm them i wont hack. cos if i get 4 rm i will stay for about 10 years them move if we have more kids and need more space. if 5 rm no need to move anymore mah.sigh

sigh...i know if i go back to work i need a maid to look after kid and to do housework. now im handling everything cos not working n trust me it can be such a headache and exhauting mainly becos my toddler needs attention and hates it when i do housework. so from the moment i get up in the morning until i sleep at night it is non-stop work work work. to be fair, i do get the one or 2 hr or TV when he naps. but otherwise, im always on the go. i donno if i go to work hubby can get used to it or not...now he gets homecooked lunch and dinner....everything is done for him...he only need to go to work.( which is very tiring for him too). so now our duties r very clearly defined...but sometimes i miss doing the mental work when u work outside.but thinking about having a maid around, whether i can trust or not, etc etc keeps putting me back. sorry for rambling.

what if me and hubby r joint tenants but he is paying fully for installments. then means only he is covered for HPS. if anything happen to him is the house fully mine or do i have to continue paying for the house??? confused leh how all this works.

my son was constipated when he was on cereal and package food as u r giving ur son but once i changed to homecooked porridge he had daily BM with no problem. its simple food...just boil some rice with lots of water and add fresh veggies like spinach and carrots, can add fish also if baby will eat. but i recommend u try with veggie first then if he ok then can introduce new food. keep us updated...it sure is painful when baby cries. good luck

im thinking of hacking away one bedroom wall so as to make the living room space bigger but i heard that this will bring down the value of my house if i were to sell it in future. is this true?

i had this idea of 'modern victorian' look. i dont even know if i made sense but i saw this design in my friend's house and i fell in love. never liked a house that much. had a wall with wallpaper, furniture was like victorian but very toned down n modernised and the colour palette was neutral with browns n some black in the furniture.
