yeah i came across such agents too and sad to so way my last choice flat i gave it up simply becos i was peeved with the agent who wanted 1% from me when i walked right into the door. he was the sellers agent. now im searching again and my present agent really does his work bringing us around, giving advice and keeping us updated. so im actually hoping a deal will go thru with this agent for my current choiuce unit so that i can pay him his well-earned commission.

hi zlia, my son seems ok now after the preventive inhaler..flixotide. inf fact i have taken him off the inhaler. i will though bring them will be when i travel. the preventer and ventolin inhaler which is only for when wheezing occurs. i hope he wont get it again though. after the flixotide he has stopped coughing.

i seee anyhow, im still peeved about the current salary thingy. Current employer is not aware of my new certification and was told to inform them so they can revise salary when i 'achieve' the status..but i dont want to tell them cos i wanna leave the company. but now having difficulty in getting market rate for my qualification as the headhunter always say 'what such a high jump from current salary...dont u think a bit unreasonable'...it gets tiring to explain to them..sigh

what u do mean by ' a lot of people dont go by headhunters?'.......isnt that a norm now if ur skillset is highly in demand u get calls now and then from headhunters. maybe i misunderstood what u meant.

isnt fernvale BTO??? plus only 3 rm and 4rm right??? what abt those who need 5rm flat?? btw out of curiosity, does hdb launch all its existing flat stock in a particular area at once or in stages??? i mean for example sector B is now launched...is it all of it is out or they might keep some for later???

u mean from hdb?? yeah....why dont they increase supply for hdb instead of the private. not everyone can afford the newly launched private apartments. or did they mean there will be more supply of hdb flats??? im kinda confused

but it seems hiring companies always ask for current salary as if it always has to be a percentage of the current. what if someone accepted a lower salary cos of location ( super near home). for example I just passed an exam in my field which would be equivalent to the bar exam for lawyers or ACCA for accountants. so when i factor the 2 factors above i expect more than 30% increment in salary( which is the market price for a person of my qualification) but they r so obsessed about knowing my current salary which to me is irrelevant.how can i get around this to my advantage? anyone??

i know no need to reply,...but just want you to know that like everything else in life...this too will pass. so take heart...it wont be for long.

would be nice to have friendly neighbours...well at least courteous and not cold 3 and unfriendly. got 3 neighbours...2 units r 2nd owners...1 unit accepted our gift for CNY but the other one dun open door. so we gave up. I find the older ones more friendly. younger ones like so arrogant...and mind u im young. i was looking for house dr to dr cus i like the internal layout of such flats but the agent told me if u get **** neighbour then die! i was thinking yeah she is right. but how to make fren b4 buying the flat? i dun think they even want to entertain n open door lei

not true that moe teachers can go back early if start early...maybe 10 years ago it was like that. now its common for morning session teachers to go back ard 4 to 5 pm...got so many activities and meetings etc. if it was a 7am to 1pm job...waaaaaahhh...dream job...why would i quit...even though 40 kids in a class is still a nightmare.

yes it is inappropriate but some older generation r so tactless...my hubby's aunt once ask me how much my hubby makes. i didnt give a straight answer but a range. but now that i think about it i dont even have to give an answer...so busybody. im thinking of what to say should she ask again...since so kepo. everything also want to know.
