That is a restful place! The expansive walk-in is indeed drool worthy! Hi Songz, I do change it each time because they will be covered in dust (In my case at least). If it is very light dusting, I wouldn't change it. you'll know what I mean when you see it. You can't shake the dust off the duster.

I'm glad to contribute too I checked and found this other link also on Amazon. It appears to be for 3 starter kits! Much cheaper! http://www.amazon.com/Swiffer-Disposable-Cleaning-Unscented-Packaging/dp/B001K3HYNC

Thank you vicx and oceaneleven on sharing your shipping costs! I will definitely bear in mind what you said about table vendors! I'm glad someone asked about the blinds. I'm leaning towards venetian blinds too. Something else to add to why I might choose blinds. In a 4rm, I notice that the windows come right up to the wall. My master bedroom will only have 2 panels of windows. If I were to use traditional curtains, I lose light even if I have the curtains pulled open to the side i.e. the curtains will have to cover the windows just because there is no where else to go. Wonderful rundown on art! I am all for the support of local artists I've seen these cleaners/dusters here but they cost a bomb! I'll be getting these from Amazon and will check TB. I used the heck out of them previously when I was in the US and doing my own house cleaning. http://www.amazon.com/Swiffer-Dusters-Extender-Extends-three/dp/B000QR931O/ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_text_y They also sell refills and will buy them at the same time. Great for tops of fans and for blinds. Those of us with white walls and young budding Picassos at home, I recommend Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Once again, I buy them in bulk from Amazon. Really expensive at Cold Storage. I've used them on coloured walls too. http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Clean-Magic-Eraser-Original/dp/B0071SCSO0/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1403585536&sr=1-1&keywords=magic+eraser

Hello! Great job on your renovation! Having settled in, do you have any feedback to share about your flooring and laminate feature wall? Ingenious by the way! Do you happen to remember how much you paid for the shipping of your desk from Taobao? I'm intending to purchase a larger size table to go at the end of our kitchen island. Is the table holding up? This is the one I'm looking at. The 180x70 size. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0d.6639537.1997196601.133.s7wkuu&id=38956316698 I read through but must have missed the psf cost of the flooring (both living room and kitchen). Can I trouble you to share that too? **(SORRY! Shown in your pictures! Blind as a bat!)** Sorry for all the questions and Thanks! p/s congrats on becoming a dad! I have 3 boys and that's why we are looking for hardier floors

I love that store...I bought the yellow owl butter dish. My friend loves owls and I bought it as a gift. Could not resist it so I bought the coral coloured one for myself. $8 each but with shipping, I paid $40! But oh so cute. Not sure how big a rug you are looking for...try overstock.com too

Hi Paloma, I bought something online today and thought about your house. US site westelm.com now ships to Singapore...I think you will find some interesting pieces there.

Please Help To Advice On My Quotation - 4 Rm Resale
Compass replied to Terrain1976's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
Hi! I just PMed you to ask for the cost of your reno since my potential flat has the same layout as yours. Then I stumbled onto this I'll read through this. Thanks! Please ignore my PM. So excited to follow your blog. Good luck! -
What I love about your place are the small punches of colour. I like this idea for your brick wall (not a big poster but smaller pieces): You can even make this a weekend project. Collecting interesting frames and painting them yourselves. I think they would make nice conversational pieces.

I like your idea of handles! Maybe something like that would stay in line with your mid-century kitchen design? or

Hello!
I chanced upon ths forum looking for hdb makeovers. I loved your exposed walls!
Could you kindly pm me abd share the contact for your contractor and your reno costs? I am considering a resale 4 rm so the cost is going to be higher...best to get a general idea before committing to anything.
Your apt looks fantastic!
Thanks
Karen
