  1. I was at Home Success booth last August in Expo. They talked me and my wife into placing a $50.00 deposit thru a program called ACE DESIGN to get their code for renovation and 2 other codes from another 2 company. They PROMISED in the event they do not have our business, they will refund us the $50.00, no question abt that. I did not go with any of the 3 companies as we found the codes not suitable. Home Success was the lowest but to us their designer proud and was being unfriendly so we give them a pass. 8 months passed and our house is renovated by another company which we sourced. We are delighted with their design and most importanatly their customer service. Neither ACE DESIGN or HOME SUCCESS contacted me about the refund despite such a long period. I took the inatiative to email both of them in April and Simon Goh(i think is the boss of H.S) replied promptly and asked for my bank account no. I provided on the same day and waited but no response so I emailed Simon again and he replied he will get it done in a week time stating he is busy. Another 2 week passed and still NO RESPONSE so I emailed again. Guees what- this Simon simply brush me away by saying he is busy and travelling and ask me to go his outlet in B.World to get the refund - even told me this is the "fastest way". Imagine the agony I experienced - being treated like a piece of trash thrown around. It simply means I AM NOT THEIR CUSTOMER anymore AND THEY ARE NOT OBILGED TO FUFIL THEIR PROMISE TO ME. I did not take it well of course and insisted I should be refunded by a cheque or a bank transfer after 3 week of delay by Simon Goh. I also told him I will share my story with a journlist friend of mine. I do not want to travel down and also do not see it as a need to. Mr Simon Goh then turn rude toward me asking me to share in media if I am happy with it and told me HE HAVE NO TIME TO ENTERTAIN PEOPLE LIKE ME(simply bo chap huh). A few days later, Mr Henry Yeo(supposed to be fr H.S as well)inform me via sms on 15/05 that he will assist me on the refund by banking in a cheque. He then asssured me he will "get it done" Guess what again - 22/05 I sms him abt not receiving the reund, he replied will check for me. 29/05 - No refund again, another sms send. He then CONFRIMED WILL GET IT DONE BY 30/05. I waited patiently AGAIN telling myself "LAST TIME WITH THIS IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY" 06/06 - I sms Mr Henry where is my refund, No reply, No reply and no reply. 07/06 - I CALLED MR HENRY and asked when exactly do they "WANT TO WASTE HIS AND MY TIME TILL" He sounded pissed and BRUSH me off YET AGAIN SAYING NEXT MONDAY. 12/06 TUESAY -LAST DRAW 13/06 - ME SPENDING TIME TO POST THEIR MIS-DEED Verdict of the standard of company - Irresponsible, rude towards customer, dragging simple matter for many months, unfriendly and slow in replies. Collect $$$ very efficient, return $$$ take months. All this for not resolving a simple matter. Can YOU trust your house with them? I won't and we are so glad we did not choose them. Think abt it - the likely consequences. From a very fustrated customer.
