Just received a call from hubby. I think to make matter worse, my contractor told me that my Caeserstone color out of stock must wait till end of Dec, and if kitchen top delay, the renovation also delay till mid Jan. So how?? all my furnishing will come in on 5th Jan, so I need to clear a room to put all the stuffs which means no security. Pls.......don't give me heart attack.

Back from Macau on Friday night, so Sat afternoon went up to see how's the renovation progress so far. Just before I left, my contractor told me that he will get the carpentry up, my toilet accessories up BUT, when I opened the door, the house seems to be the same before I left. The only thing done up was Kronotex skirting for living room which they had left out previously, changing my cracked kitchen wall tiles. I'm on vacation for 5 days, the renovation also stop for 5 days. I sms my contractor and told him that there's no surprise for me, can I still get my house before end Dec?? He then told me that he was having fever for the whole week, what to do, people already sick right, so just hope that he can complete everything soon, actually by right 8 weeks renovation should end on 5th Jan 2013, if can end early should consider heng already.

Ya loh, I don't mean to be crude but then owner even have not use yet, a bit heart pain to see them abusing it. We are the one spending money leh.

Ya, that's what I thought too. My hubby nearly place the deposit but I just don't want to commit. Because the way he serve, he don't even know how to measure and keep asking the same questions. I must repeat the dimensions many times, and then he said his boss will do on site measurement and give actual quote, so meaning to say whatever committed in the Expo will subject to change.

Yesterday night, went up to see if the lightings are up, ok, the fittings are up but cannot on it, so use our flash light from the hp. Did not take any photos though because too dark, but can see that my clipsal switches are nice. The lightings are very nice but the plumbing work abit.... 1) They put the wrong basin tap in my common toilet. I even packed them together and they still can installed wrongly. And the bottle trap should be chrome de, but they use PVC. 2) My rainshower not working and when I turn on the mixer, the water pipe leaked. 3) They use my MBR toilet bowl and urinate until all over. I know they might need to use but at least to keep it clean, the best is they don't use common toilet de, but use my MBR toilet. How to go holiday like that?? I will make sure I take lots of photos as evidences.

I bought the Sparkle Silver Steel Charcoal. Have not try yet but I told my contractor not to let the painter uncle to do it because they never see this before and normal painting already cannot make it, I don't expect they know the art. Haha. Most likely I'm going to paint it myself.

I think so loh. He just called me said that the uncle can't see properly, old liao. I said of cos lah, no light n come so early in the morning how to see clearly. Anyway, he will ask uncle to repaint n touch up. I think I rather ask them to leave the paint to me, I touch up myself. And also must protect my Kronotex flooring, wait kana the paint, they better replace for me on his account because the flooring not cheap.

This morning went up to see the paint work again. I really can't accept the workmanship, call my contractor on the way to work as he will be going to my house first before meeting me later. I told him to check if the painter has finished painting or not because to me the ceiling n wall like not 'blend', just like shirt not tuck into the pants. I don't know if I'm too picky or anyone can accept such paint job. Somemore, today they are going to fix the W/C, lightings and my Kronotex coming to lay the floor also. I wonder if they can still repaint the walls. MBR - Can see right, the wall paint splashed onto the ceiling This one worse, one patch there. Door frame - Nice but we wanted a right angle profile, not complete yet MBR piping Look at the corner, I can't accept loh.

I always ship direct from VS to SG because sometimes the merchandise are pack in big box and VS charge based on the amount you spend rather than volumetric. Now Sintex also become atas already. No lah, I think $167 for a set still quite reasonable for 475 thread count. I saw those Hotel Collection ones, I think no need go to work already, everyday can sleep until don't know what time.. I need so many fridge jugs because my husband only drink cold water, so instead of using those bottles from soft drinks, I think it is more hygienic to use proper bottles.

Back from Robinson. Got myself 2 sets of Sintex bed linen ($167 each), 1 set of WMF pots ($109)n a ladle($35 before 20%), 3 Lock &Lock fridge jug 3L($25.90 before 20%). Total damage $479. Sintex Queen quilt cover set 475 thread count UP:$699, after 70% discount is $167. , I think they really know how to attract people to buy their 'SALE' items. At first wanted to get the 990 thread count Kinu brand but then after calculation 1 set alone cost more than $400, so decided to drop the idea. Actually 475 thread count is very comfortable already. The sad thing is, I did not redeem my OCBC points for Robinson vouchers before I made the purchase, so no vouchers to use. I think I can redeem for about $100 based on my points. Actually I should take leave to shop whole day. Hahaha Bought too many heavy stuffs n car parked at Starhub Centre so we arrange for free delivery.

Now VS i think abit over price for their clothing. Go to ASOS, free shipping to SG and the best is you can get designer clothing at good price when they are on sale.

Hahaha....My requirements worse. Because both me n hubby need bolster, so the only brand that has 2 bolster case is SINTEX and SHECADO. Last time, we only go for 100% cotton 320 thread count over $150 and that last me for 8 years. Now, because I have seen so many nice bedlinen from other brands that more than 1000 thread count but only 1 bolster, so I'm thinking to replace bolster with pillow instead. Maybe just like hotels loh, buy 4 big pillows. Few months back, I bought a King size bedlinen 100% cotton 700 thread count @$170 (from Robinson)for my friend's house warming. The material can consider not bad le. Afterall, like what May said loh, its still voice down to our pockets. My hubby will kill me if I'm going spend more than $300 just for 1 set of bedlinen. This time round, I promise myself to get at least 700 thread count. Oh ya, actually Spot Light does sell nice bedlinen with 1000 thread count n price not bad but more for ang moh lah, they only got pillow cases in their quilt cover set.

This morning, went to my house to see their progress. Early morning around 7.30AM, saw an uncle already started to paint the walls. So far, I only see the base coat for living room and the seabreeze color for my son's room. And also my Johnson Suisse W/C. Living Room My son's room Look at the paint work. I hope this is not the finished work that I'm going to receive. I think I can do a better job than this. Btw, I think the uncle don't know how to paint Momento, thus I told my contractor to leave the wall to me but just help me paint the primer and I will paint the feature wall myself.
