  1. Cos I got it during their sale period... So able to get 50% off their retail price... Really a good bargain.
  2. First hack for this reno..... for the Air con trunking... master bedroom to kids bedroom master bedroom to the hall Hall to master bed room
  3. finally my first draft of the floor plan.... base on my sketches. HALL... lucky to have a huge hall... On one side is the sofa and TV area... as for the void at center... THat will be my Mahjong area MASTER BEDROOM Split by have the wardrobe closer to the bathroom... to look like walk in wardrobe. and have the bed frame and bed head board all custom made .. in order to conceal the air con casing KIDs BEDROOM same as the master bedroom... have the custom bed frame matching with the wardrobe for my 2 teenage boys. KITCHEN & DINNING i Have a Looooong kitchen to divide to the wet kitchen and the dry side.... the dry side will be elevated to match the same floor level as the hall.
  4. hahahahaha... I meant the toilet air vent piping..... not aircon if you go your toilet to will see a both vertical fat pipe and thin pipe. the fatter pipe - it's the sewage pipe... and the thinner one is the air vent for air to escape when u flush... I just wan to know if you chop it off the connection of the air vent to the toilet, sink.... etc
  5. ya.... i agree on that too... the aircon also did mention about that too. thanks.
  6. slow like a snail.... your progress is fast and furious... existing place so still staying there, cos of revamping... packaging up is madness- but almost done with pack , will be moving on the hacking my toilet once HDB approve the permit.
  7. question... Are you terminating the air vent piping so the bath room look neater without some many pipe running vertically and horizontally ... looks like worm turning here and there going thru walls. see mine- MUP done 16 years ago
  8. we have same type of layout... just that mirror image... my unit is at AMK camping here to see the development
  9. did you chop off all the air vet piping? can you show any picture of how your piping runs>? thanks
  10. Thanks O11 for the tip..... ha ha ha hai think it will be better than now.... guess might use a grey or black silicon to match the floor tile and walk.
  11. before I saw your concept, i did a sketch for mine.... you see the green color lines are the walkin wardrobe .. now is to add a door for the walkin or do just the sliding door the wardrobe and do away the door into the wardrobe... thanks for tip.... for me just one person so no one fight with me for the space.... lol
  12. No choice... I have been putting up with current state for last 16 years... sick and tired of wet toilet floor and seat.. even have the shower curtain is also useless... the floor over at toilet still gets wet... and the whole toilet bowl get wet from splash.... and will have those mold.... very hard to maintain, the water trap is at the shower area.... as the the toilet side... only will be wet if i do washing.... the will be a outlet flow out at the corner of the curb... worst case hack a mini floor trap ar toliet area and connect the the main water trap. yes I do have basin sink..... master bath just a corner basin since i am only one using. and common bath has a full basin sink. so long as I am hacking the whole toilet I can relay the piping again... keeping my finger cross....
  13. Also settle for KDK ceiling- 54" for the hall, 48" for the bed roomx 2 & dinningx1, 44" study room.
  14. another sketch idea for master bath room. again... old flat restricted by the piping, wall and toilet location. relocate the basin to corner. freeup the space from original full basin for shower area.
  15. Thanks.... ha ha ha. tot my sketch are too raw and hard to understand. Long Kitchen---- Thats a Plus for old flat... nice square livving room and a long kitchen. I am spiting to 2/3 for kitchen and 1/3 for dinning area- this 1/3 I will have it raise platform to the same level as the living room.
  16. I think my kitchen will look similar to yours... i have quartz black top ans similar laminate.... what stove is that??? Bosch??? also the kitchen tiles... similar too
  17. Next week will be layout of aircon piping and casing, have to get all this piping casing up first in order for me to conceal. Have selected Mitsubishi Inverter System 4 MXY4A28, GE24VA x 1 living room, GE10VA x 3 bedroom
  18. Sketch of the common bathroom - dividing shower and toilet with a sliding dividing glass screen. move the wash basin to into with the toilet while the shower is outside. the blackcolor line on the sketch will be the darker color tiles either hafary or lian seng hin at the moment....still soaking into them choices.... but still prefer the lian seng hin- left side of the tiles in the above picture.
  19. for the kitchen... I show her a sample kitchen laminate finish... and she went took all a similar pattern tile for me to compare with the floor tile. conclusion..... my advise dont have to go too many showroom.... you must set your mind on the color and theme you want.... else you will be doing wild goose chase and cant firm down your choice of tiles. the more you see, the more confuse you are.
  20. next stop wen the to other corner of the building for Lain Seng Hin not as more customer as compare to hafary with steady flow of customer. immediately I was served by as Sales consultant . She is nice... offer my drink, coffee, milo or water..... too bad no Me. head up level 2 to see some example of the tile mockup. very soon. I nail anohter 2 more choice of bath room tiles
  21. one stone kill 2 bird.... head down to balastier- Hafary & Lian Seng Hin. at Hafary.... seems they are really busy..... so I helped myself and did my own selection. the first caught my attention is this tile... can use it as a texture wall to anchor on side the the wall did a few combi and very quickly.... a customer service came over and serve me after he finished his earlier customer. also did kitchen floor selection
  22. looks so cool..... I like the idea of double sided access wardrobe-always see it feature at hotel . how is it functioning? is it practical in real life?
