Yr top is originally what colour?? So it did not absorb the colour but fade?? Sounds weird lei, cannot imagine how it looks like, try to take pics post lei.. Did yr ID say anything abt it??

coz lush says its a sale item so must pay in full lei.. i guess furniture (sofa, chairs etc) maybe can negotiate to pay deposit but furnishing items (rugs, artworks etc) have to pay in full.. i went to change the rug colour just now, they have a new pc so i took it back first.. the om coffee table, paid 50% deposit oso.. i think its quite worth it coz got drawers lor, can put the remote controls in it!!

haha.. the planning stage takes very long one i find.. u know i started searching for ID since nov last yr after i confirm buy the place.. then feb take keys still havent confirm ID coz the ID takes so long to revert with their quotations, designs, amendments etc.. end up mar then i confirm my ID and start works.. so i can understand yr frustration.. still got all the cleaning and furnishing after the handover.. very sians lor!!

i've no space in the kitchen to hang whatsoever.. i oso don't want to lei but i work in orchard lor.. then my colleagues practically each one drag one leg and drag me to wisma and taka lor!! bad influence.. but i eyes bad one lar.. see they try so nice, oso wan to try then try liao nice wan to buy.. my hubby still don't know yet.. shhhhhh.. haha, me too.. every night at night nothing to do, jio my hubby drive over to new place to just hang around for a while.. har.. make me worried lei.. mine is white solid surface top.. but now its warpped in brown carton box paper type.. don't know if will affect the colouring not.. its not homo ma, so actually should be absorbing other colours lei.. was yr carton box wet??

hee. now got GSS i think if u see any u like can buy first lei, more worth it. furnitures not like lcd tvs lor, price drop so drastically over time. lush wanted me to pay in full coz of GST increase and GSS sale item. but i refuse to lor. so end up bar stools i pay 50% but rug i pay 100%. going down later, want to change the rug colour.

same imm shop - woei lee right? i think they are the only one selling in imm. the boss says they were the first importers of this. the first time i was there, he was quite impatient. think coz he quite a lot of business so a bit ya-ya. but u know my ID went to approach him (fellow tenant) and ask for more discount, he wanted to give my ID $50 cash rebate (as a form of referral incentive) then when i ID says give it to us as a discount, the boss say cannot. when i went try to bargain, he refuse to lower the price, but i still paid the full price la, din wan to pissed the already fuming boss off by mentioning the suppose-to-be-secret-cash-rebate though we try to keep mentioning our ID name to pressure him and hint to him about the $50. haha. now i'm sians fiaos over the far away installation date in mid-late jun. thought can install by this week. did not know so hot item, if know then order earlier liao. you know my that lush bar stools also 8 weeks.. i try to rush them, they keep insisting 8 weeks, refuse to put on my order form 'asap'.. i also don't understand why 8 weeks for the OM coffee table. the sofa 4 weeks only.. but at least they willing to put 'asap' on the order form, more flexible..

was complaining to my hubby its like moving at snail's pace. he says he spoke with vincent today and he says by next sat all should be done le. keeping my fingers crossed. next week schedule looks pack for my place - mon fix up sanitary, tues fix up aircon, wed fix up carpet and wallpaper, thurs (though holiday) do cleaning, fri fix up rest of carpentry and sat fix up curtains. i hope it will move as smooth as its planned. but i'm sure last minute sure got something cropped up again one lar! haha~

Hee.. ID is using the embroidery design to match our breakfast counter light that we got from lightcraft. I love I love I love it! I find that its the BEST BUY for my whole flat. And also to match the mbr tv console cum room divider side cupboard (for dvds/vcds/cds) door. Still WIP, supposed to be completed yesterday for 90% of the carpentry but ID rejected the whole batch of black glass from the carpenters due to poor worksmanship, so delayed till next week. Now my wardrobe, kitchen cabinets all still no doors. $650 I find it abit expensive and was voting for another coffee table I saw at Red Apple ($599 for 1m by 1m, 90cm by 90cm and $499 for 80cm by 80cm, 70cm by 70) which can be customised in terms of colour and size. But it was slightly cheaper only so ID and hubby find that this OM one more worth it coz still got drawers. This one I think not very expensive lei. We nv ask how much also but I thnk the main cost was from the new doors itself. Its really nice lor, make the whole door look more expensive and also very 'sticky'. Coz my main door magnet very loose liao, cannot stick, so we asked them to change for my main door also though we did not change that door (no budget for fire-rated door so painted it instead). No discount given! Hubby and ID nv ask for discount lor. Though the sofa we bought from OM last month and managed to get 20% off.

Good time to buy all the stuffs now coz of the GSS! 3 kitchen bar stools - Lush 1 MBR rug - Lush 1 living coffee table - OM Lush is really having a good discount off the usual prices now and I find their furnitures or furnishings looks expensive but at a more affordable price. Only concern I had was that they are owned by Luxur Home and there were quite a fair bit of negative comments about them. Hopefully my purchases will turn up smoothly.

i also think so can.. but hubby super fussy until i feel like strangling him liao - too soft, too hard, just nice but too expensive, just nice but brand not good.. i very chin chye about mattress one actually, hard or soft also can as long as not waterbed (seasick, haha) can liao lor.. i like simmons la.. must try to convince him and buy it by this weekend.. today MBR bedframe done by the carpenters le but no mattress!!

If you 'bu she de' or don't want to incur extra cost in hacking, can consider laminating yr whole unit to get that high end feeling also.. Coz if do homo, still need to hack away old tiles, cannot overlay..
