  1. hiya! the ex-owner took gd care of the flat! still look so clean and neat! waiting to see more pics
  2. hihi whitehousey, i totally agree with u on personal preferences part. its our home, so as long as we like it the way we wanted, why not? can u share ur curtain makers contacts with me pls? ur house looked so cosy now. probably take a few pics with all the lights on, to emphasize on the "white" house?
  3. I think it looks pretty alike. Just that the 3D is without railings?
  4. taichipanda, u can b caesarstone's salesperson leh! See this comment in many T blogs I guess to each their own preferences. Likewise for me, I considered the joint lines a greater eyesore than the scratches n stains on my LG Hi-mac. This is before i factor in the consideration of cost. Moreover, if 5yrs later my solid surface is really stained, I can opt to polish it. It'll still b cheaper than caesarstone.
  5. another in this area my cousin's place (same block as my parents) is the one with the long long living room. i find it hard to fully utilize the space as i prefer a squarish living room. is ur hse done up already? can go drink kopi with denimart hehe.
  6. Hi etc, I have been placing my sealy mattress on the floor directly and I'll do the same for my upcoming new hse. No problem with that cos sealy mattress already v thick and it looks neat and minimalist too!
  7. hiya, thanks for the compliments. yup, the fairy lights is from philips. i bought it from balestier, at lightings.com.sg
  8. hi there, i wanted a full wall with mirror too. about 17ft x 2metres. ended up i abandon the idea for the time being cos' my reno cost already exceeded budget. i've asked a few companies as well as ID, they all said though my mirror is very huge piece, but since my wall is flat and smooth, there's no need for plywood. if u want plywood, will need to pay another 30-40%!
  9. hi astral, noticed that you also have a recess area in ur living hall, after ur main door. are u boxing up the area? i had 2 such areas at my place - one **** room, the other in MBR. spent money to box them up cos' hubby thinks that it wouldnt look nice if its not flushed with wall.
  10. Hi vajra, u sure u have so many lights at home?? It's a total of close to 80 lights!!! Each installation is $10, that's is already $800.. Wow.. In addition, u will also spend a lot of money on Lightings..
  11. Hi astral, care to share the model of ur TV?
  12. U buy nicely renovated place but the design might not b what u want? Or it's nice initially after few yrs maybe problem might surface? Think positively!!
  13. sans20sg, relax abit. i can feel ur frustrations and if i can feel it, imagine how much ur baby can feel it esp. u are already in last trimester! a happy mummy = a happy baby. its 100% true.. so please dont get too agitated ok? as for the leaking showerhead, i agree with taichipanda. the plumber should test and check. my plumber checked every installation and left the water running for a while then cap the sink hole to ensure no leakage. u should insist on the plumber to come back and check because they charged u for these installations and thus should ensure that all done nicely. take care!
  14. I love ur wardrobe, simple yet elegant. More pics pls!
  15. cant wait to see ur finished product! very nice 3D!
  16. Jshome, Hw much u paid for Philips kids light? Be careful when buying not well known ceiling fans from Msia coz some do not have safety marks n if any fire outbreaks (touchwood!), insurance will not compensate.. Tts what I was told.
  17. Wow ur hse is big! Can play ard with the space.. And yes, nice nice city views!! I think I know which area u r in. Not difficult to guess Rent out to china students sure jialat. My mum's neighbor rented to a grp (like 10?) students n the hse always very SMELLY when we walked past the corridor!
  18. I love ur hse!! It's although small, but very cosy! Like like!
  19. hi casa, yup, i'm above 20th floor but still not considered very high cos there's a total of 38 floors!!
  20. Wow, now I can understand why u like this place so much! Anything that u keeping since mostly will go?
  21. She's 14 months now. V naughty! Nope it's painted not wallpaper in her room. Hope I don't need to repaint the stripes leh. Ya.. Kitchen has the most storage, expensive!
  22. hi san20sg, probably becos solid top is not up yet, it still dont look good. but the wood should not seems hollow? i checked on my reno everyday, when i'm not satisfied i'll text the ID immediately. my carpentry dont seems hollow, in fact, i feel the wood is good (heavy) becos when they did not install finish within a day, there were some drawers left on the floor and i checked on those. are urs chipboards material? i hope not! any pictures to share? if ur fan did not come complete with the accessories, u shd let the seller know and get it back. i checked on every light and accessories (even when the hood & hob arrived, we spent 1/2 hr examining to ensure no scratches etc. till the delivery uncle buey tahan and told us that no one ever does that in front of him!)
  23. hehe thanks. ya lor, i love the scenery too. green green trees. for my daughter's room, i just hope she dont draw on the walls eventually..
