some updates today... carpentry partly done... some of the lightings up... some painting done - the whole house is black and white... so in every room, at least 1 wall is black... pics uploaded here are not the actual colours coz i use hp camera... didn't go down 2 my place for last 2 days coz hubby in reservist... but my dad went down to have look... he told me that the painting had started... will take pics this wkend when we go over again...=)

oh... to change the pic, go into your profile, then select avatar options... then from there u can link to a photo that is uploaded on your online photo album... think u can also upload under "personal photo" but i didn't try tat... so duno can anot... yup i agree... we also never put window grilles... initially my MIL and mum did nag abit... but we dun care... so guess they accepted the fact liao....

yup... i can move in once the reno is complete... we are flooding my MIL's house now... coz we bought alot of stuff for our new place and its all in her living room and bed room now... think she will be happy if we could move away all those stuff asap... hehe...

we bought some sanitary wares @ Sim Siang Choon today... but forgot to take pics... will post them up here some other time... also met up wif ID at our place today... he told us tat painting will start next week, as well as chemical washing... then the carpentry will come in and he should be able to complete everything in 2-3 weeks! can wait to see the final product...

thanks... not really fast leh... maybe coz HDB delayed my reno permit... so i feel like i have been waiting for ages... hehe... actually we really wanted open concept kitchen... but my kitchen is super windy... so changed our mind... if not whole house will smell of food when we cook... hi storeberry.... yupz.. there will be a piece of glass to see thru... so when my hubby is siting in the living rm... he can see me washing plates, then he can come help me... hahaha wanted to put half glass... but my study rm is already full glass, so decided to have this instead... hihi... hmm... maybe i can consider going coz i have neber been to bkk... can u believe it? looks like i am kind of "mountain tortoise"... heard from my ID that they have nice cheap decorative clocks there as well... as for the sealing of air-con opening... actually not much purpose... juz look nicer onli and dun need to do full length blinds to cover... since ID do FOC then we agree....

its okie lah ahblur... went to my place yesterday... hmm... seems like the reno works have slow down a little... or maybe coz we go see almost everyday... so very "sian" when we see little work being done... wun be going down the next few days coz hubby going for reservist... guess will have to wait till sat... hopefully more work has been done by then...

ah blur... we also on tight budget... but "bo bian" hubby insist on changing the tiles... that means no holidays overseas for us this year... =( went to our place again today... hehe... yeah... more "orh orh" tiles... Kitchen and service yard flooring done...

Juz came back from my place... The following have been done these few days: Reconstructing of half kitchen wall Overlaying of black floor tiles for common toilet Overlaying of black floor tiles for MBR toilet We also realised that they nearly spoilt our study table... luckily only the box was damaged... haiz... so "chor lor"

ah blur... our ID manage to help us source for a cheaper alternative other than blum... the price is less than half the price of blum... but not really sure what is the brand though.... will be using for our kitchen and wardrobe... maybe u can ask ur ID to help find for u???

ahblur, my reno still doing... but some of those things we bought earlier... and they are unable to hold for us... so no choice let them deliver loh... e.g. ikea, they say the max they can hold is 2 wks onli...

most of the electrical stuff were done today... glad we were there... at least all the electrical points were done to our liking... our mattress arrived today... our home theater system arrived today... any the ikea people came to change the study table... the one tat they delivered the last time had a chip on the glass... so tired... spent the whole day waiting...

hmm... maybe diff model may be cheaper.... fabric ard 1.8 k... can try asking for discount... hee coz they also gave us a small discount with some free cushions...
