I stay on the 12th floor. So far so good, it's easy to clean (mop + vacuum), and what I like about it is that it don't give a bulky feel. I stay in new HDB estate, where the rubbish chute is situated outside the unit. So very seldom see cockroaches... lizard ba... i hate them

Really?! Have you try it? My kitchen cabinet is those "float" kind, then after living, realised mosquitoes like to hide under. I tried spraying Bygone, only lasted for a day. After the smell disappear, they COME BACK!

ya, sounds strange, but works like magic everytime. Just awhile, they will all fly inside. My mum said it's because the heat from the light make them go "swimming" but dunno true or not. LOL

Yeah... but last week, all the things went the wrong direction leh. Bring wrong tiles, do wrong things.. ID misunderstood what we want. Luckily, he very patient to help us correct the things one by one. Very stressful...

We changed the red part to glossy white. Cos FSM red in the kitchen will turn me into a rage monsters, not to mention having problems in the "gan", liver, i think... !!

FINALLY got the chance to touch RenoTalk again! I've missed so much process of my renovation.. Alot of things had been done. Wet works all done. Laminates up today. Last week was a very choatic week, cos alot of decision to be made, and weekend are burnt buying accessories. Broke our legs running shops after shops comparing prices. Luckily ID got good lobang. Now, only left the toilet bowls le.. So mafan. Ours is the 2-inch type, very difficult to get, and if have, they chalk up the price. ALOT Enough of talking.. photos to share. All these are actually loaded last week, but no time to put it here. Sad me. First, toilet tiles... the black black (& dirty) tiles.. My rose tiles! Pictures taken from my HP are lousy.. cannot see the effect. Wait till the house is cleaned up, will fix my cam to take good pictures! Promise! Partitions & all fake walls are up also.. Now my MBR looked so small. Despite having the "xin li zhun bei"(mental preparation) it still shock me to see the outcome. But according to the ID, once the platform come in, walls painted & our lovely serta on top, the effect will be fabulous! Ya I know.. Counting my blessing.. That my Hubby is understanding to me, and I'm living on my own, not with in laws... !!

I feel is communication. It will get harder as the time goes by.. Cos two person is basically sharing ONE life, so along the way, sure will have alot of friction & unhappiness build up. So the key is to still have effectively communicate despite all the differences you had with each other.

May I know which sales personnel do you talk to at GC? Cos I bought my TOSHIBA at GC. Had a very pleasant experience there.. Mine is non-invertor. Cos my living room not very big, so no need to get the non-invertor. !! Now, I'm even a personal friend of this sales personnel le. Not only has he helped me on the air-con stuff, he even go beyond his call of duty & helped me with our stuff to help set up our home! Cos we are first-timer..

Pls dun laugh at me hor... I made my Hubby sign a contract (done by me) saying that he will protect me, even against his own mother, if reason is on my side. Cannot let his mother bully me (heng MIL not that kinda person). And must stand by me. Cos I'm ALONE, marrying into his family.. And MIL still ok, she respect that my thinking is more modern. He's too used to being the head of family.. Everything mus put one leg in..

I'm doing re-tiling for my two toilets.. And is still using the old doors.. the only difference is that, before re-tiling, the door's track is on the groud. Now, after re-tiling, the floor "higher" so the track seem "in" the ground

This one I also got ask Master Gan.. Cos we are stuck in a situation where by.. now we move house, we need a bed. Hubby got the Serta Louisana bed. Cannot be we use 2 yrs, and chg a new bed right? We expect to be sleeping in that bed for the next 10yrs leh!! So we called Master Gan.. He said, after ROM, considered marriage le. He got give us a date for an-chuang when we move in.. During the customary, just get a new set of red bedsheet, pillow case and all those stuff can le.

The first sight I lay on it, I exclaimed "DONUT" very loudly in the shop.. Very maloo. I didn't take the picture in the shop, but it will be delivered at the end of the month. !! The furniture no. is 62962069.. You can look for the purchaser LARRY. Their service is quite good, except they practise "rubber-band timing" plus minus 30min.. To me, I feel reasonable ba. Cos they run alot of places..

Some pictures on the update.. We managed to get rid of the old furniture le! For a whooping $200!! Initially thought will have problem getting above the $100 mark.. ....... NOW ...... EMPTY!!!! Today I went for a brief meeting with my ID at the house.. for the work going to be done this week.. Saw this being drawn on the wall... That will be the position of my sink... Anyway, the current status being... We just bought out toilet accessories & lights yesterday. BOUGHT MY CHANDELIER!!!! Love it so much!!!!! And bought 2 more crystal lighting (I call it the chandelier's baby sister) one for foyer, another for the sofa side.. that's 3 dosage of happiness.. Also the basin and stuff, I like the donut basin I chose for my MBR toilet.. Total damage = $1990 meaning. the top surface of the stool have design one.. and the design is actually made of shell (like called pearl finishing i think) i'll take the pictures and load it..

My Mum has a dining set(tables w/chairs), sofa set(2-seater + 2x1-seater), coffee table, 2 side table + 2 stools w/pearl finishing. Also has a alter, but don't think that one can re-use right?

Can.. so you jus want the sofa set or the whole living room's furniture?
