And ya hor, my mum also told me bananas cannot put in the fridge when she came over & found them in my fridge.. why ah? They ripe so fast!! If don't put in fridge, very fast cannot eat liao

  8. I put them under the sink.. Anywhere as long as it's out of sight! They are really a problem.. And the Garang-guni man dun pay for them unless they are of substantial amt
  9. Yes, I fully agree with what your ID said. My MIL house is having leather sofa, it's pretty easy to clean, but it's really uncomfortable, as after some time sitting on them, our thigh will sweat ma, and it's really hot! So in the end, my hubby & me always sit on the floor, which is deem more comfortable than the sofa. At my house, i'm having a fabric sofa. BIG COMFY! we can just lounge on them for hours on weekend lor. The only bad points is-mus be careful with any liquid, as fabric absorb them quite fast, and that for fabric sofa, need to vacuum frequently, cos will have lint. Hope it helps
  10. Ha ha.. obviously a lie. 90% of my furniture are glossy laminate with different colours. No scatches at all. Just finger prints, need to wipe EVERYDAY. But for the posh look, worth every bit of it
  11. Mine is hanging type... But after living in my house for 3 months, it's an extra space to clean for me le... But it's definitely nicer. I guess nice house come with a price ba...
  12. how about those aunties who work as freelance cleaner on free days? I did have a number that was pasted in my block's elevator. But I think only applies to Admiralty residence, but if u dun mind, can try calling.. Maybe she got friends that can takeyour area. PM me for details if u like
  13. That's why I trusted HN more. Maybe bcos I have relative working in there before... But also gotta depand on which outlet. Basically, for what I know. It's one-for-one exchange when cannot repair. seems like giving candy to fill your mouth wor... Personally, i think small items that u cash&carry it's ok... Just dun buy those big items that people tend to buy through installment lor.. Like TV or fridge.. smthg along that line... learn smthg new today... NATO-no action talk only
  14. If you don’t love it, don’t keep it. Bring it back within 7 days in the same condition (box, packing, accessories, warranties, instruction and purchase receipt) and we will exchange it for you. Huh... If you don't love it, that means mus have tried & dun like it right? Then how would it be in the same condition leh? !! Sigh.... hope to get my replcement set soonest... actually I quite regreted buying from them too... I went there because they will absorb the 7% GST... but after I bought the extended warranty for another 2 years costed me additional $92... the total price was more expensive than elsewhere... think on the bright side, at least the machine's protected for 2 more yrs ma.. i bought my major appliances from HN, bcos I wan extended warrenty, give me a sense of security ba...!!
  15. in the first place, Buddha teach that everything we are experiencing now is just a passing phrase, you dun bring it with u when u are born, u also dun bring it with u when u leave the World-生不带来,死不带去 . So in the first place, when I heard about the extravagence on the temple... i was speechless. It just doesn't seems right la...
  16. just some hearsay ah... They said that the said company offer cheap instalment scheme ma, so alot of people purchase & later find that they can't afford to pay. When that happened, they would take back the goods, re-package it & sell it. Dunno true or not, but from your situation, seems like the case...
  17. U mean as in the likes of financial planner? Or bankers?
  18. I used to live in Woodlands Crescent (my mum's place), too inconvenient.. and too quiet, alot of foreign workers.. Now, I bought an unit @Woodlands Dr 73 LOVE IT!
  19. I think it's quite common practice leh. If u wanna sell/buy, u find a relative who's doing property, then can give less commission ma
  20. I saw one at my fren's house also.. Personally, I find it very convenient, but a waste of the space on the counter top leh... Cos my house the kitchen very small, so the countertop very precious
  21. Hi, I've moved into my house for 2mths le.. And my house was furnished by PLUS. Throughout the process everything went smooth, I guessed it all gotta depend on who's your ID ba. From start, a chart was drawn out with dates of completion for each stage of projects. And since both Hubby & me are working, we only meet our ID once a week-Monday. He's the one who overseas the whole project. And not to mention the price is reasonable too. I've even recommend my ID to one of the forumer here, and they had taken up PLUS as well. And after moving, I have received nothing but praise for my new house! There are even neighbours who ask to come in and see our house
  22. Yes, it's Amway. But I've tried both Diamond & Amway. Both have a taste..
  23. I have tot of buying one also, but it's not from diamond, but a MLM company. but after I went to a few people's house, who had installed the filter, i realised that their water tasted abit strange leh.. like a bit of chemical taste. Leading me to think whether is it really healthy, or just another modern technology that risk our health...
  24. I put under the stove, where the space is bigger. So no need "pull out" I can access For the container, I use a type of transparent container which can be found in SEIYU, it's specially for rice. there's even a small compartment on the lid to put dried chilli, to keep the rice bug at bay
