well, u can pay a bit more for the contractor to do the screeding so that everything will b leveled...tat's how i decide to do it since i don't trust hdb to do a good job

normally if planning is done right, ur contractor can do the screeding first then continue with doin other works whilst waiting for the screeding to dry...it will be pretty amazing if he has to do 1 part of the renovation at a time meaning to say...put tiles first, complete then can move on to another portion of the renovation. cheers

screeding takes 2 weeks to dry? thats a bit too long if i m not wrong screeding takes only 2 days to dry

i feel its how much u trust and get along with the iD..... for myself, i let him do all the work and end of the day take over the place pretty much fuss free. if u can trust him and let him do his work, prob he will have more breathing space and would do a more satisfying job... juz like urself at work, would you like your boss breathing down ur neck? cheers

someone just knocked on my door a moment ago and insisted to see my floor tiles and mentioned something about his tile company billing me and i did not pay up and keep insisting to see my living room tiles....but the thing is that I did not even buy tiles or wat from kian hoe or watever..... wat pissed me off is he keep insisting to see my floor tiles and refused to go off despite me telling him at leas 5-6 times i do not know what is he talking about. Anyway his description is young guy in early thirties with boyish looks, wear specs with spikey highlighted brown hair.... anyone encountered such a stranger approaching u to see your floor tiles......?

Btw, for those Blk 91 peeps, the information in the HDB portal whereby it says we will probably get the key in 2Q has been changed to "HDB will invite you to take possession (ie collect keys) of your new flat in due course. " I called up HDB and they said they will be scheduling appointments and will most probably be 2 - 3rd week of june. Cheers
