Harlow again. I haven't been back in awhile.. I accidentally deleted my photobucket account and lost all my reno photos! Anyway I'm back to sell these bedside tables. Only a couple of months old and still in near mint condition. Selling because they are too wide for my masterbed room. Scanteak is still selling these for $359. I'm asking $350 for both. The items are ready for pickup at my place in mountbattern. First two photos were taken in the Scanteak showroom itself. The rest are the actual bedside tables I'm selling.

Hi Shandee, I didn't really put any thought into coordinating the doors along the corridor. To save money we kept all the bedroom doors, just repainted them. Our ID suggested glass doors for the bathrooms that will not be affected by the water/humidity so we went with it. As for space wise, all our glass doors can open outwards so that give us a lot of space in the bathrooms itself. I'll let the pictures do the talking now. Corridor and common bathroom. To keep the pipes kinda hidden/out of sight, we opted to have the bidet tap lower. The only thing is we need to tuck the hose back behind the sink each time after use or it'll be in the open like the pictures.

Hey, I'm looking for a cheap easy pull down laundry hanging thing.. Where did you get your clothes rack from and how much was it? I'm not sure if you have any experience with it yet but can you share your decision process and why did you choose this one? Thank you.

My mandarin is extremely bad, haha. For the Eubiq, I purchased it from ASL POWER. http://www.aslpower.com.sg/Home.html They are really easy to work with and are willing to come straight to your place to demo the product. You can try Kenneth at 9060 8017. As for the pricing, I forgot how much I paid... something like $100-150 for the power strip and $30-50 per adapter. The embedded strip are a bit more expensive I think.

-The side touching the wall is the usual 600mm -The half island sticking out is 800mm with a 200mm recess for counter stools. (which are on the way!) The domino induction stove is exactly 510mm for your reference. Our ID recommended the dimensions and we went with it. It works really well for us I think the 510mm base your contractor laid out is the standard for a 600mm counter with some room for your toes. You can consider getting a slightly deeper counter (800mm or more) if you want both sides to be fully functional. One point to note is that finding counter stools for the usual kitchen counter height was difficult as most are catered for the taller bar height. This limits your choice to the stools with the adjustable height and only a few shorter counter stools.

Hi there Velarine, It's actually a solid core laminate. It's 2mm thick and super duper white and glossy! Cannot see the waves like normal laminates and also don't need the ABS trimmings cos it's white all around the sides too. We had to pay a bit more for it but it does add to the look.

Hi Taichipanda, That is part of my dry kitchen. So hopefully it stays dry. I did think of mounting it on the was but then without any top cabinets it would look weird and out of place. I read that the Eubiq is somewhat water proof but it being an electrical devise I did have my doubts. So thank you UncelJ for the reassuring words.

Yeah actually my wife and I like the 46", if it's only a few of us. But when more people come over, it's just crying out to be a tad bigger.. I must admit we didn't think of the bench behind the sofa idea. It was just a natural thing that happened, the first time we had a bunch of guests over to watch a movie the shifted it there themselves! And I think our shorter sofa height kinda makes it almost like tiered seating.

Congrats on your new place. Yes, full open kitchen will have problems when you stir fry or cook oily/smelly stuff.. Especially if you don't want to mop the whole house every time you cook. Can consider glass door to give the illusion of space with full open kitchen but still closeable.
