Met the curtain maker who came from JB, was quoted estimated S$1.1k for 1 set of curtain for living room with aluminum railings 1 set of curtain at MBR & bedroom 3 each with aluminum railings 1 set of blind for bedroom 2 & study room each 1 set of blind for MBR She is the first curtain maker I met, and think will just go with her coz her pricing is reasonable. And fabric quality is quit good too !

Check with HDB first before you confirm with ID. If I am not wrong, HDB will do the screeding for free for the first time. I was dumb enough 12 years ago for not checking with HDb for free screeding for my existing house, end up kena "cheated" by my ID for $1,000+, cannot remember the exact amount le.

Went to JB on last Friday to collect the lightings for Foyer, Dining and MBR. We use track light for Foyer, cost RM263, sorry that I forgot to take the picture of it. For Dining - 7 legged octopus, cost RM400 (equivalent to SGD161, based on exchange rate 2.48), so much cheaper than in Singapore ! Received call from Contractor, minor hiccup from LSH that they forgot to reserve the floor tiles for Common Toilet, it is now out of stock! How can this happen ? Was told to choose either a slightly darker or lighter tone, now waiting for ID's reply on the tiles colour

Hi MamaO, Indeed they are very fast. Just went up to inspect the progress this morning, hacking was 100% done as promised by the Contractor. Kudos to the workers, hacking only took 1 day to complete. The workers started work at 9am sharp, within an hour, they have cleared the debris in Living and study room, and transporting the sands up to the unit.
