  1. They lost your house key?? How can that happen... Shouldn't u have given them a padlock to ur gate rather then the whole house key?. It's a big no no to give house key to renovator. Ppl that are doing renovation, remember to give either a number lock or padlock to ur ID/ contractor, never the house key. -.-"
  2. Haha. I've check wif Kevin, his team had expanded, Vincent is one of his new staff, taking care of his punggol area project. Nice to hear may Kevin is expanding
  3. Get a few more quotes from ID n contractors u would probably know the roughly estimate price. Just a piece of advise, sometimes cheap may not be bad, expensive might not be necessary good, @the end of the day, reliable is more impt. Find out more about the company b4 u commit. There is always feedback in the forum here. Cheers
  4. My ID charge me $1500, for a full height one. Well my huby wants it. It's really better than the one we were looking @ rochor. at least mine is full height, so the top will not accumulate dust and dead bugs like my in-laws. I think it's worth it.
  5. Hmm... The price is a bit too ex for the kitchen, my granite top kitchen is almost the same as ur. My house using Norway granite, my ID charge me $120/ft, It's just like $30/ft diff. The rest are almost the market price...
  6. remember to post ur house pic here let us see after ur reno
  7. JJ, I must tell u first, they are not the cheapest ID, but in terms of service, i would say they are one of the good one around. And their workmanship is pretty good. So sad they come up wif this package so late, if not i would save a few hundred $$ i guess. This package is almost similar to wat i had done. But i'm really satisfy with they work I believe u n ur wife will love it.
  8. Where is his office? How do u get to engage him as ur contractor/ ID? Probably u can share more info of this contractor or ID.
  9. OMG, that seem bad, had u try using industrial glue to stick it back or called ur contractors?
  10. Price is cheap. But must see worksmanship. With all the thing ur ID gave u. I would say go for it. Good deal. But probably u wanna try ask for granite top.
  11. Thanks for googling. I've just got my granite stained and this really help me a lot. My stains are removed with vinegar.
  12. I've already done my renovation wif Ehomeconcepts, wif kevin. But i saw this promotion brochure slip into my main door n the contact number is not kevin. Think he got a new guy to help him.
  13. My mum-in-law did her 3 room flat @ $1,100
  14. In singapore, u cannot use peanuts, peanuts are worth $600k here...
  15. If the magic sponge doesn't helps, probably u can try putting some bleach onto the magic sponge and try to bleach a small corner of the tiles, see if the white steak stain will go off. Do small area first.
  16. A big no no, u have to monitor the price of the blue chip b4 throwing ur money inside. Probably when u get ur cdp account, get the stockbroker from whichever bank or financal agency, to advice b4 u buy. If not read up some background of the company, b4 considering anything. Esp, with the big movement in the market nowaday. Putting money into stock market without any knowledge, will be very very risky.
  17. Actually r u intending to lay tiles? coz some contractors actually charge cheaper for waterproofing when they lump it up with the tiles. If not the price will not be accurate from contractors to contractors.
  18. Looks reasonable to me, their kitchen cabinets are pretty cheap, After seeing many ppl with their kitchen cabinet price, urs is like $108/pf. That is cheap
  19. Hi all, just saw a promotion brochure by ehomeconcepts, thought might be good to share it here cheers.
  20. The dark side of forum is when the framing start, it'll never stop until the moderator remove all the post. In the end, u dunno whether is it a backstabbing or the real case of a conman company. If really Blveblue is good, u must tell us and show us some nice photos. If they are conman, also tell us how they con u of ur money. Cheers
  21. Probably u can call speak try to be friendly and explain to them personally. If they still insist on paying only $50, tell them the relevant charges involve, $500, with all the repair cost, plust ur damages. Probably all those will add up to a couple of thousand. See if they will still stand firm on that $50. If you got the black and white, will be better.
  22. Hehe... Dun worry, u mean well for the fellow forummates here. There are still a lot of good ID recommendation here, just a few black sheep. Registered or not, if you know the company background, workmanship, or seen their real completed job. No harm choose the ID/ Contractors. If u are someone with zero ID/Contractor knowledge, get some quotes from those HDB registered company, At least u know ur quotes will not go too far out. Cheers
