    its largely because u do not have anymore of the same tiles thats why he did it that way... and it looks really odd

    actually even if u dont go down to the shop urself, u will still be paying for the same price as u would go with a designer / contractor.... and maybe if you go with a contractor / designer, u might get cheaper price
