Ya lor ya lor.. Growing up kids means furniture also 'growing'. Those floor tiles where we want to keep, we didn't do anything to the surrounding area. cos I super worry it might 'injure' the tiles which hubby like so much. For the wardrobe, we are only doing master room, and the girls bedroom. Their wardrobe configuration shld be quite normal, i intend to hang most on hanger as its mainly dresses. For our study, we are keeping things simple. All moveable and no customize furniture as our girls will like their own bedroom in the future. We plan quite far ahead, their divan bed is meant to last at least 10 years though. When the time comes, we will convert the study to bedroom, and shift one girl over. And study table will be one each, and build one wardrobe for bedroom3. Me n hubby tend to discuss alot over certain points and we are ok to disagree with each other, and try to see from each others point of view, while presenting our own angle. Haha we dun argue, we discuss until we are convinced it's the right decision then we take action. -

Hahha hubby kua-zhang la. Won't chase him out of the room, but might kick him out of the bed only.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We just completed our inspection of our unit. And had a very fruitful discussion with our Reno contractor Jimmy. Really pleased with our decision to use him for our Reno. We didn't have much of a 'feel' for the solid top, and he actually offered us a very very attractive top up costing granite top So far feel very comfortable with him. Will share more when the Reno progress. Haha, I bet my hubby is posting those pics which he took earlier while I am posting this. Cheers!!! -

Hehe Ya lor kids grow up very fast. When they grow older than we replace some furniture along the way I guess. Haha new furniture helps to freshen up a place when we face it everyday for the past 10 years. Keke Under our girls hand, seriously doubt anything will survive longer then 10years bah. @_@ -

The 'no storeroom' is a headache to us sometimes... We are curving out a small corner at the end of the kitchen to become our storage area and using our dryer to block out this messy view -

Hi jshome, Ya, the kitchen toilet is quite a distance. We are telling our 2 girls it's their toilet, imagine their protest regarding the walk from bedroom2 Round table dun really fit into our house design as we are making our living room rather squarish. Hahhaah. We're not expecting a lot of guest during festive period most of our utensils are catered for 4 pax only. Keke -

A little bit upset with Cellini. When we want to confirm the package with them, ask them throw in the bean bag free, they say never will happen. Then nowadays give it free with any home package. Wrote them an email, they never bother to respond. After that, I made a call to the salesperson, Michelle then she took sometime to revert saying that her boss is out of town. In the end, today received an email from her saying we need to buy more things from them then they FOC one bean bag. Rather disappointed with this company. -

Hi there, Our girls are already 6 & 9 this year, so no long the toddler stage where we have to child-proof everything. Haha Anyway, we did consider the durability and practicality of the furniture. Can't have it too childish design, cos they will outgrow it in 2-3 years time . For their room, we let them have a say in the wall color, their bedsheet design, as well as the laminate for their build in wardrobe (with some influence from us 😜).
