  1. Hi Tachipanda, The printed painting (more like typography art) from Typo is very light weight. Can use 3m tape, so you can hang anywhere. Wow..looking forward to your wall paper.
  2. Hi kirinshibori, I too feel that you have done a wonderful job in your place. If's difficult to keep the place neat and tidy with kids n their barangs barangs, but i know this is certainly a home that the kids look foward to coming back, and i feel this is the most important aspect of a home. This home feels cozy with your choice of wood material n definitely has the modern japanese vibe to it.
  3. Tachipanda, i love yr blue sofa and cushion mix. Great choice. Some suggestions and hope u dun mind. 1) some artwork behind your sofa. I think typo in wisma may have fun n comtemporary painting that suits your modern house. 2) can change your take-ko to stainless type... To many colours liao la 3) change your hangers to all white lei Your house is airy, bright and i really love the pop of turquoise
  4. Hi val, the furniture shop other peices look good as well. Can i know where is the shop?

  10. Hi Kirk, sorry to hijack yr track but i need to ask a very impt question to taichipanda Taichipanda, I hope you can advise me on my shower system. Spouse wan a Hansgrohe rainshower system. Our new place is a very old 30 years plus developement. HOw do i know the water pressure of my apartment? staying slightly above mid floor. I'm trying to buy the raindance series and I understand there is the 360, 240, 180...depending on your water pressure. Secondly, can i use gas heater to run my rainshower? I called many sanitary shops and all say ought to use water storage heater. But i read (think thru u) that it can be done if using a bigger pipe? I ask contractor to check for me and he says his plumber may not know. What shld I do to ensure I install the correct rainshower system? Many thanks.
  11. Where in ubi? I also tot of popping by.. Prefer big spacious shops lei like d one u mentioned.
  12. Maybe morgan thinks u purposely request for uneven tone for the ultimate industrial look, even if it id self level premixed... Hur hur So best to check with d pax who install it.. Will do d same thing if i'm morgan
  13. So taichipanda = albert huh? There was another albertchng in the forum, also quite knowledgeable.. Same pax or not huh? Yar, maydream, i meant g-spa at badminton hall. Din know they have special service wor!!! Oh, can pop by egg3 cafe too... Think its also nearby if u r looking for a some spacious aircon dining in the vicinity. Prices not cheap for such a location.

  15. Oh no.. my bathroom is very small... and i have never seen a step up bath except for those I saw in Sim Chiang choon ready installed types. But ID keep pushing for the idea eventhough i have my doubts..
  16. Yar, was thinking you must have some reno backgound/knowledge from your comments/contribution...Blur sotong like me renovating for 1st time also dun know what to look out for and what is the appropriate timeline for each task..sigh..can only rely on contractor to provide the information, kena smoked also dun know.. I tot of having the floor trap idea..so my id suggest to have step up in the shower area instead so that the floor trap is deep enough. Can the idea work? But Val brought up a good point abt hair trap in the shower kerb... Anyone have used a step up shower area before?
  17. wow..tachipanda sounds like an expert in renovating...R u a contractor/ID? u give a lot of technical comments and also abt slowness..blah blah blah Hi Denimart, Can oak withstand the humidity of singapore weather? Was told that teak is the preferred wood in singapore due to our local weather? Wld love to hear from Morgan becos I really love the calming colour of this oak you have chosen. Bet it will make the whole place looks bigger.
  18. JS, Perhaps you can use the Evorich flooring for your stairscase too since you are also doing it for your lower floor. Reno process looking good
  19. Xtr, R there 2 doors to yr mbr? Did u hacked 2 room to become 1 big master? And hack 1 room to replace with glass door?
  20. I read until blur lei.... So twinkie=ely1, if yes, can u re upload yr house pics becos i cant view them anymore... XTR has been so nice to share his reno journey, resources, reno tips, house pic.... So let XTR have his privacy...i dun need to meet u but pls cont to update yr house pic, yeah
  21. Very sound advice there!! XTR... But easier said then done for me cos i'm such an impulsive shopper....haha I'm always 'buy already then say'..
  22. Looks very nice! The feel is like wat u have posted in yr inspiration pic. Can u review the vinyl floor? R u using the high resilent flooring?
  23. But was told this type of tap spoil easily...perhaps hansgrohe is different... Hi pineapple, Think better not buy off the net cos u wont know the built quality. It is a hassle when the tap leak and need to change the tap. Better to buy 1 which u can test, turn and twist ( esp if u have double bowl kitchen sink and may swing nozzle left n right frequently).
