Get an Indesit 5 function model from Mayer. It is made in the Ariston factory.

The Ariston uses an enamelled tank. Guys, looking at the rating label to see what is the wattage on the Ariston & Joven and you will see why one heats up so much faster than the other. Remember, Ariston is made in Italy and Joven Malaysia. In Europe, they have requirements for energy efficiency etc etc that we don't bother about here. Look also at your electrical bills.

If you don't cook heavy at all and don't have upper cabinets, then you don't really need a hood. But a ventilation fan on the window would be useful

La Germania is not OEM. It is made in Italy by parent company Bertonzzoni. The latest agent in Singapore now is American Appliances so please check up on this before you buy.

Yu don't have to fit the charcoal if you don't want to. They filters out cooking smells but for Asian type cooking, it works only for a few days before the active carbon becomes coated with oil and don't work anymore. Just remove them that's it.

It is alright to shorten the funnels slightly. Check and make sure there is enough clearance for the buttefly valves on the utlet to open up. And yes, make sure the the side outlets are not blocked. If you have not choice but to block the outlets, then you need to open the top part of the cabinet to allow exhaust.... I design hoods

Ariston Aqualtis won't fit under the cabinet. When selecting a washer, test the spin cycle. That is the one that makes the sound like aeroplane taking off. I have a GE mande by Gorenje, it is very quiet.

This dryer not good so don't buy it. It is slow to dry because the thermostat cuts in too slow to provide sufficient heating.

If it is rusty, time to let it go. Gas hobs can be dangerous when highly worn or in a corroded state. If it is 2 burner, I think it is likley to be Taiwan or Chinese origin. Get a Rinnai or Tecno universal size if model if you don't want to worry that it does not fit.

For Singaporean style cooking, I suggest Rinnai or Turbo hobs.

1000m3/hr is the amount of air that can be extricated from your kitchen. If you are recycling, then it does nto mean very much. The Fujioh hood is designed specially for recycling and it does a good job in filtering the oil from the cooking fumes which is why they quote absorption rates isntead. But the downside is this hood is difficult to clean because of many parts and it can smell if you don't clean it frequently enough which is why they provide a cleaning service.
