end of the day i m jus sharing my experience with them. positive or not, carrot or not, its up to invididual. many ppl think buying vegetables from NTUC/carrefour or even cold storage is carrot as compared to buying vegetables from wet market. Some even go to the extend of buying from wholesales for cheapest one. end of the day its personal requirements. different markets pertaining to different requirements. No one is advocating its a must have to get their services. pls see it in a more objective manner and not try to pick egg among stones. cheers !!

Baroque D.zign

i believe the design u guys are talking abt are the captentry works..baroque only provide perspective for those customised capentry... for my case, i was asked to review the drawings many times. if i din recall wrongly, i have so far rejected and asked my ID to redraw at least 2-3 times. not 1 drawing, but many of em. imo, design is a critical process which should be approved by the owner before they start to take measurements and begin construction... for my personal case, after the redrawing, me and my wife finally decide on 1 set of drawings with 3 main colour theme. we even have to ask my ID to return and change 1 set of mosaic tiles which we have previously chosen becos of this newly decided colour theme. again, baroque changed the drawings for me. story dun end here, after letting my FS and parents see the colour theme, we decided to change the colour theme again. Again baroque are willing to do it for us and redraw for us to see again. Also, we have to change the mosaic tiles, this was duly done also for my case very simple, dun start work, and i dun sign on the drawings until me and my wife are happy wif it....safer la..no disputes in future...... personal opinion for sharing only cheers -

i used them for my new flat. 1688 for their new HDB residential package quiet yes, check and go very fast. but things he say is 1 needle see blood kind. overall the coy package is professional (timely consultant replies, polite, courteous and patience) reason i got em is, word of mouth recommendation and established as one of the best in SG pay for premium..some money cannot save...my 2 cents

small point... i will choose option A, the softer ones red is nice, contrast but a bright colour. next time when u have kids, may not be good for em to stay at bright colour stuff at infant stage..no good for the eyes......small pointer though

any feedback on this? market rate wise, its easily 500-700 cheaper than a similar capacity mitsubishi electric system 4

not only u....my gf friend also...amk new flat somemore.....the husband go n bang table and HDB wack and erect the wall for em.....i got 2 cases to prove my point.....
-
no worries... ya..dealing wif stats boards not ez...i also have my fair share of experiences with these red tapes infested ppl..ha ha !! anyway..HDB is sending someone up to my place tomolo to access...i wan to c what "excuses" they give me.....will keep u guys updated

thanks for the replies just to note, hollow blocks != hollow walls. For those wackable struturals (non black lines) in floor plan, those are not equivalent to hollow walls also. those walls are jus pure non key structural units that can be wacked w/o affected the structural integrity of the building. Its still proper brick/sand and cement. i have alot of issues with HDB with regard to hollow walls. I feel that i m jus exercising my right as a consumer, and i m not behaving like a typical fussy singapore consumer. housing in SG is not cheap....how will u feel if when u knock on ur bedroom wall, which is suppose to be concrete, it sounds and feels like that of a office partition, or those makeshifts cupboard type that u see at convention halls? u literally can feel echo coming out of the wall. I welcome visitors to my flat for a trial if you guys are interested The best thing is, 1 portion sounds concrete, immedietaly inches away it sounds hollow...now..tell me..is that normal? some may live by it...i cannot, coz its too obvious a problem to me... anyway..i have friends whom complained of similar stuff....HDB wack n re-erect the walls for them.

actually the same thing happened to me i approached him last year ard nov-dec, when i am supposed to collect my keys in feb he told me to call him after i gotten my keys..i agreed...coz i wanted to fair wif him as he was busy wif other projects..i think i also mentioned this in this thread..can scroll back after i gotten my keys..i sms him again few weeks back to ask for quote. he responded wif fax no and i proceed to fax my floor plan to him. last sms was that he will get back him me after going thru my floor plan and sit down n talk. unfortunately he nvr called till now, and i signed up wif another ID. got good got bad la, focussed on his existing projects which is good to his existing customers, but also kinda disappointing for those who are keen to get him.....perhaps i was "pressing" enuff... cheers -
thanks . mine the tiles are actually ok its actually the wall that is hollow...

Mine is a new flat at punggol, the block is 3 years old, my unit is the last one left unsold went to check last week discovered 3 walls hollow, very obvious. can hear loud hollow echo when compared to adjacent solid walls question now is 1) is this normal? some ppl tell me its normal...really? 2) what will HDB do? will they chut pattern n deny? 3) if they do rectify? will they wack n re-erect?? thanks
