Sorry, I meant standing tower fans<standing fans<wall mounted fans. My bad. Anyway standing fans don't last as long, because children and maybe people in general like to move the fans' heads towards their direction, rather than carry and turn the fan around. So yups my own mother managed to break 2 standing fan heads that way. They snapped at the neck. The fan still can work, but the neck is dangling or pointing at the ground permanently. Wall mounted, out of reach... so lesser damage from monstrous human strength.

Have to agree that standing fans don't really last, and cannot dismantle to clean the dust. Have to use vacuum to suck out the dust. If getting KDK can consider panasonic standing fans as well. KDK bought over by panasonic many years ago, so basically KDK makes the fans.

I think they also have an empty patch next to BPP. Besides they can always build it above the current bus interchange. Anyways, it will be pretty unfair for the older residents in the other side of bukit panjang if everything moves over to the newer estates, the current BPP is more central to BP as a whole. Have people around but not much to comment on it. After all, sports complex they already drew out the plans, and publish it and send it to the public. And also said in the papers will confirm start building by end of last year... until now no news. So I guess we will have to wait until we pay them more millions of dollars before they will decide where the sports complex should be. Just have to lower your expectations of building MRT here based on current experience.

Well, maybe you can snap before and after double working pictures, and then you can point out the difference to your husband. When my carpenter made mistakes too, my husband also told me that it is so small difference can live with it... and plus that he did not notice the difference from the drawings. But to me it was a big difference, as I wanted a border around my bookshelves and the carpenter did not do it, so my shelves land up looking like something from my mother's era... And my husband did not notice, despite telling me all the way he understood what I wanted... And he say it in front of the carpenter some more, so with a hubby like that, how to change your carpentry works to the one in drawing, cause even 50% of the customer agree there is no difference. Makes me look like the bad guy in front of strangers. Wah... that is when we women get upset, cause we specify to them already what we want, some more have drawing to prove it, and then our own husband says no much difference when it means a whole world to us.. Nowadays hospital rooms are colored. If all white, just imagine how hard it will be to get the urine stains and etc off. Anyway, Singapore is really super dusty, my beige curtains have turned grey within 2 months of putting them up.
