Thanks adidaem for HDB rules....haiz, space wastage...we could have do more magic for this viod area attached to our master room. 2) for skylight, it's more ex than shutter. I'm having big problem as my extended balcony always get wet during recent heavy rainfall..haiz.... just bcos ex-owner said rain won't comes in with half open erated roof. Please advise how to post pic. maybe someone can give me an idea what to do after seeing it. Thanks in advance.

Anybody know why we are not allow to extend level 2 'lobang' balcony area? like building extension balcony as level 1? just feel that 2nd level balcony area is wasted... 2nd question, any lobang for 'transparent roof' for balcony? cost?

Bishan EM valuation for low floor is @690k, so est. plus cov 60, selling @ 750k. I was looking at Bishan before I decided on Hougang EM which is 150k lesser.;-) Oya, may I know how u guys dry/hang your clothes? not much info on laundry. I'm planning to have my square balcony as breakfast area but where to hang my clothes?? I saw 1 unit having bamboo holes outside their balcony, like normal flat. is this legal?

Like 3room; When HDB announced no more small flat, everybody buy. But now even they are building 2-3room, demand is still strong. Conclusion, I'm quite confident with HDB houses as their valuation cannot be manipulate by valuator/agent unlike private property.

U bought your EM at Serangoon in 2011, top floor less than 500k? Super good deal! I rememebered Serangoon EM were selling at 500-550k 3yrs ago, near Rosyth. As for bubble, do u think it will impact HDB houses? hmmm I never see HDB valuation drop even during financial crisis
