  1. My water heater seems to be leaking at the pressure release valve of my ariston water heater. Underneath the heater, there's this label that says we should release the valve pressure every 6 months. How do i do that? There's 2 extensions to the valve. One has a hole, the other has a blue covering. i don't want anyone to get sprayed with heated steam, so what can i do?
  2. i think their kitchens are quite alright. The only problem is that the premade units don't have the height that i want. Other than that it's quite nice.
  3. Yah should do that. Mine is a p-trap toilet. The guy never put anything on the connector, eventually there's always this smell, and worse still sometimes have brown stains on the ground. Then i tell him to redo. BTW can also DIY. luckily i don't have to do that
  4. Aren't conservancy charges based on the surrounding area, outside the flat, number of bins outside, etc. rather than on floor space?
  5. hey no some of them are quite ok. Not at pubs though. Thanks to the alcohol tax, i'd rather buy duty free, but not always possible. I just think that this wine place could be selling wine that hasn't been kept properly.
  6. Well, I'm not a wine expert, but i've been to the wine connection at robertson walk a few times already, and it always seems that the wine bottles i've tried is always off. Not totally vinegarish, but it's like they never take care of it. Anyone else been there and have any experience to share of their wines?
  7. Sorry, isn't the final transacted price the valutation + whatever is asked for? So the commission is based on this final price?
  8. I've got parquet in my living room. High gloss parquet. There are some scratches, but that's part and parcel of the parquet thing. I use the floor guardians, a blue coloured ptfe strip, to protect the floor from the furniture. Some of it is rather expensive, like 4 large round ones cost 14 dollars, so i mix with the more cheaper brand. You can push the furniture around and it's guaranteed no scratching. So far it works.
