during my collection of free HT system from Morris last year, i had seen not one, but 2-3 familes deny of the free gift because the purchase price listed on their invoice is less than certain percentage of the RRP. They argue and try to pursue. What i overheard is that Morries allow them the free gift but need to top up certain sum. Some give up, some top up. As for me, lucky the shop i bought from (Kong Tai) knows about this. When i bought the LCD TV, the shop purposely write the RRP on my invoice and charge me at a lower price. He told me if he dun write that price down, i wont get any free gift from Morris.... Lucky....

Display for normal program (channel 5/8/U etc) on LCD TV is always not very sharp. if you do not want to own a set top box, mayb u can try getting a better tv cable wire to connect your tv to the antenna point directly. I own a Mio TV set top which is connect to my LCD via composite point, however, i find that the program looks better w/o the set top box, so i decided to return the set top box once my 6mths free is up. Will only get a set top box when the price is low and more HD channels up.

first of all, did u call and ask for quotation for many models of aircon? Sometimes, its not that they don't want to reveal the prices. Its because nowadays competition is so stiff, they afraid its competitors checking out the prices. That's why they prefer u to go down to their showroom when they can give u a better price / some other discounts/ freebies. Of course, this is also a sales tatics, by making u go down, its 1/2 a battle won. From there, they can persuade you whole day long to buy from them. Therefore, if u decide to go down, must know the prices from other shops. Maybe the person who attended you don't have a good tone, but dun get angry over such small matters. Cheers

before u paint your new color on the old walls, u need to clean the walls, cover the holes. Then paint one/two layers of emulsion paint, then 2-3 layers of your new paint

a cheaper alternative if u dun mind less comfy material. I spent oni around $80+ for my quilt and fitted sheet with 2 bolster & pillow case. My serta matteress is Arizona and required at least 15" thick bedsheet. first i got a $20 aussino quilt cover with 2 pillow case. then i went over to spotlight and got a 15" thk fitted sheet (plain color) with 1 bolster case for $50 and a additional bolster case for $10.

i also got my flat @ JW in dec 2006. Its near Jurong Point, about 5-10mins walking, Mid Floor, 6yrs old flat. That time i pay $0 cov. The sellers give us a price $2k below valuation. Congrats on finding your PG. There are a few advantages of having 2 PGs. 1)There will be photos showing your husband preparing in the morning also, before he reached your place 2)When 1 is changing lens, the other PG will still be able to shoot (more precious moments captured) 3)More angles or candid photos taken since 2 PGs able to cover more. These are all i can think of. I had 2 PGs because of my package.

Its better to go for quality than quantity. If you really "click" with that photographer, just go for him, u can develop the rest of the photos yourself when he return u all the softcopies. Dont wait till he got booked and then u regret. If you show sincerity in hiring him, he mayb willing to lower the deposit when u negotiate with him. If there's anything that you not sure about package, the most important person to ask is your photographer. There's nothing to be paiseh about, cause we pple here also not sure about your package and may advise u the wrong thing or make u think otherwise. But in norm case, from what u wrote it means the photographer will take more than 150 (have to chk if there's a limit of photographs he will take). He will choose 150 according to his taste (which he thinks its good, u may want to clarify how the selection is done with ur photographer) He will then edit the 150 according to his style and put them in an album. The rest of those undevelope one will be returned to u in some media format which u can later retrieve and print on your own.
