get ur friend who has a van, lorry or car to help u move some smaller things over? pay for petrol +car wash + treat lunch better than adding 1 more trip.. i dont think i'm even gonna hire movers to help.. gonna move my stuffs bit my bit by using trolley or watever from my wife's parent's house to my new home(3 blks away) and ask my friend to help send my TV and other bulky stuffs from my place in his company van also.

lol.. the quotation in our contract was "To supply & fabricate 34ft solid plywood kitchen cabinet c/w laminate finish,2 glass door, 4 drawer, 1 cutlery tray & 1 stainless steel dish tray.To supply & install 18ft solid surface work top with 3 inch profile" so is that too much? hahaha

actually do 2 short 1 is not bad also.. 1 side do top cabinet 1 side dont do.. can fulfill the triangle kitchen concept also.. 1 side top bottom 10 ft.. another side bottom 10ft.. total 30 ft..

he mean do 2 row of cabinet, 1 on each side of the wall.. left the middle part as walking space.. mayb around 6 ft's length for my floorplan... for urs mayb left around 4 ft

hahaha yaya true.. i heard of customers that wants to get 110% of what they paid for .... than the contractor headache liao.. but since there are black and white agreement, as long as the contractor meet the condition they agree upon, i dont think those bad customer can do anything much.. cannot be so 蛮不讲理 1 right.. like for example we see the scratches on neoby's tile.. of coz anyone see also will know that is a defect which must be rectified.. but if really is like those super tiny hair line scratch.. you want people to replace or refund for u, a bit too much liao..i think those investigating officer also not so unreasonable de ba.. who knows mayb the consumer will kena warning for wasting government's resources to complain for something so minor... anyway.. let's wait and see what measurements the government will take to enforce the lemon law..

ya.. that's why the cost for their mistakes should already be factored into the initial quotation liao mah.. that's why they give warranty for defective products within a period of time mah.. if they were to rise $$ again just bcoz gov come out with new rules.. than it only shows that they trying to suck more outta us only lor... luckily for us.. we wont be affected by it for at least another 5 years.. haha coz most of us here already renovating, renovated or going to renovate soon liao.. for those that renovate after september if the price rise than bo bian for them.. suck thumb and blame gov liao

i got a cheap solution, u take a picture of Mr A+++++'s work, than u laminate and paste in ur toilet tile wall.. than everytime u bath u look at his work, than u wont see Mr c-- liao..

if they are confident in their worksmanship, there shouldnt be a increase in price .. if they increase their prices.. aren't them telling us that they doubt their own skills? haha..

we did get small pieces of sample back during our first trip of tile choosing, but we went back to change our toilet tiles and forgotten to take the sample of the new toilet wall tiles back.

sad to say... alot of contractors (not all) in singapore see gains and profits nia.. unlike other countries where they take pride in their professionalism and are willing to go the extra mile just to make their customers satisfied.

mayb they dont wanna clear the job too fast.. .. so slowly do.. if i'm the worker and there is no rush.. i rather do 5 days instead of 3 days.. since alot of them gets daily pay.. do fast get this amount.. do slow also get same amount... anyway.. i rather they do slow and the quality is there... than do fast and have more things to rectify later... for tileing that is.. hacking nothing much to rectify.. haha.. dont hack 1 hole into the neighbour house can liao..
