hi clpersonal, i used the same contractor for the entire place. if you are interested, pls pm me for his contact I did not mount my tv on the baywindow.. I built a tv console on it and placed my TV on top of it.

Totally! And a cigar~ Modern baroque hopefully. My blinds are down most of the time to keep out the sun. In the night, unless it rains, the blinds will then be up. Thanks!

Sorry to hijack! But i called renohub, they don't carry these lights. Light+Form does but they don't keep any stock in their showroom so gotta call and order if you are certain you want it. I'm gonna get just one for my bar counter

My favourite thing in the house - bar counter on the balcony with cabinet for my whiskys With built in shelving for cups and glasses. Doors will be installed so it will look the same as the front.

Carpentry works were mostly installed during the week. I think my contractor and carpenter did a phenomenal job! The faux fireplace which I've turned into a bookshelf TV feature wall MBR wardrobe and TV console on the baywindow Study/dressing table in MBR

While I was away in Australia, the lights went up, blinds for the balcony done, decking as well and also the wardrobe system for the bomb shelter. Carpentry works will be installed next Tuesday... Decking Blinds View from the balcony Wardrobe system

Weekly update. The walls are up~ Not entirely pleased with it though. It looked unfinished and raw. Told contractor to think of how to salvage it.

sigh. my mom says i am not supposed to move in till the lunar 3rd month (qing ming) is over. Which means the earliest I can move in is late april....so...... i'm just gonna take my own sweet time to get the place ready. :furious:

Finally had time this week to go down to the new place to look at the false ceiling and L box that were done up during the week. Living room Master bedroom Second room, had to put up the false ceiling because there was a beam and apparently, according to my mom, Chinese believes that sleeping under the beam brings bad luck. So........ A pic of the wardrobe that came with the unit. I hacked the ones in the master bedroom and the 2nd room but left the one in the 3rd bedroom intact since my brother will only be occupying the room when he returns to sg during his summer holidays. Save $$. hehe First pic of the kitchen, which is of the least priority for me (for obvious reasons). Decided to change the gas stove to an induction one because my mom thinks I might potentially burn the entire house down (if i ever cook something that is).

thanks piknik! The wardrobes were hacked because I wanted to custom-build them in order to utilise the extra space between the existing wardrobe and the bay window. More pics on that when it's done! I love the east...can never ever move away i think.
