Oh HIP by HDB? If u not stay in yet u may wish to let them do the basics first n take ur time to source for the heater, bathroom accessories, lights (togther with the rest of the lighting) n let ur ID/contractor install (inclusive as part of the entire reno works) For heater I'm using the 707 Princeton (i'm a 707 fan; there r other 707 models too) http://www.chg.com.sg/pro5_princeton.html

have u engaged ur ID/contractor? usually they will recommend. see how much u trust them lor. i went to those recommended by my ID. of cos need to do some homework/research first for price comparison so u dun get ripped off. mine not the cheapest but reasonable lah. in my case, my ID accompanied me to all my fittings purchases & made recommendations according to his design & ways things may be installed. but i made sure all the prices are properly tagged (so that all customers see the same thing & the shops are not quoting u freely) & i asked for discounts. bcos the ID usually already has working relationship with these shops, he can coordinate the deliveries according the work progress. n bcos he knows what u bought, he can oso help make sure the correct stuff are delivered or follow up with the shops if anything is wrong. of cos u mus check closely too la jus in case he conspires with the shops to cheat u. but at least u dun need to coordinate everything, and end up chasing after everyone else, urself. for the cheapest deals in town if u wish to source for them urself, need to check with the other bros & sis or other blogs in RT liao..

u mean "alone"? Ya! Haha! 145 is one with slanted roof just next to Indian Temple & directly facing St Andrew's Pri & Sec, with a small field in front (being converted to an open carpark soon though )

Just an update of my delivery last Sat 1. Schedule: both coffee table & sofa delivered on time. both suppliers called in advn (1 day before) & before actual delivery 2. Coffee table: delivered @ 9am+; installation done quite swiftly, but drawer can't open upon installation; left at my plc for 1-to-1 exchg later; exhg done on same day @ 6pm+; satisfied 3. Sofa: delivered @ 3pm+; installation done quite swify; very faint stain but can be cleaned off relatively easily with slightly damp cloth & mild cleaner; quality ok, no apparent defeats; except tt color seemed much lighter than the color (code: 5800) I selected at showrm. called EL they said the color won't be wrong, could be due to dim lighting at showrm so sample turned out darker (images attached for u all to see). although the delivered color ok i prefer a darker color which is less subjected to dirt & stain... Overall rather satisfied! Thx EL! Now, hope the products dun give trouble in time to come.. My color selection (5800) Delivered sofa

Bro, how did u mount the towel/foil dispenser onto ur fridge? Double-sided tape? Does it c/w the dispenser or u buy separate? 3M? Strong enof? Will it damage the surface of ur fridge? Sorry for the string of qns...

Hi bro, ur reno is sohnice!! i'm oso renovating my 3-roomer (similar layout as urs) at Potong Pasir now.. finally gonna complete in about 1.5-2 weeks' time since 2 Apr!! took so long due to some delay.. fully appreciate wat u hv been thru.. very stressed but very excited about it too.. too lasy to start & maintain a blog to capture the journey thou like u well done!

Was at EL twice to make amendments to my order & delivery date after placing my order >2 months ago. Richard is ever friendly & accommodating to my requests even when I eventually decided not to buy a dining table from them. Also, got my warranty card already even before delivery; just need to fill in the date upon delivery. This gives me further confidence that EL is serious about it. But I guess calling at the showroom personally to sort things out face-to-face does help. But of cos, I hope the goods are without defeats & are good to last the warranty will not be exercised at all. Hope I will be a happy & satisfied customer like bro romeo & a few others. Keep it up!

Hi bro U can check out the wall mounts by Inxus Solutions (saw at Carefour Suntec; inxussolutions.com) or Sansus (saw at Courts Megastore; sansus.com) though the latter more expensive. I just got mine (yesterday) from Inxus directly. Quite value for money. However, you will need to get your own installer. I intend to get my ID contractor or TV guys (when they deliver the TV) to do the installation for me. PM if you wish to have my contact of Inxus.

Dear Mr EL Agree! With this assurance, I shall await the delivery with anticipation. But first have to complete the reno, choose the coffee table (still KIV) and settle on the delivery date..
