Hse bcome so cozy & homely once moved in with 人气! 赞! By the way, jus to back-track a bit, did u reconfig ur master toilet, incl relocate WC? I did not bcos was told WC not possible (can't even rotate?). Given the older layout of our toilets (at least in my case), it was quite challenging to hv an enclosed shower screen + vanity top given the WC position..

Wah 报警! ur neighbours downstairs terror leh.. When i did mine, a day before hacking i dropped a courtesy note w Bengawan S*l* vouchers to my neighbours (4 up; 4 down & 3 at my level) to inform them of the reno works & seek their understanding.. do PR mah.. haha! (although i've stayed there for >25yrs; hardly know my neighbours except my immediate next door since day 1 ) By the way, there's a lot of places in one day u 2 went hunting & shopping! very gd lut!

Both r possible options. If the latter, let's see the 功力 of ur ID to come up wif a gd design to commensurate wif the MBR finishing. If the former, do take note of the kind of laminates to use. Sm r only moisture-resistant, while sm better (n more exp of cos) ones r water-resistant. The jointing technology oso essential. B sure to ask ur ID/supplier hor..

Wat flooring r u using for the MBR. If laminate, any concern of wetting the floor wif a basin inside? Or u may consider a wet area (tiled) around the basin area. If whole rm tiled then no issue of cos. So eager to see ur final layout.. Ha ha!

Ask bro E to consider air-con in kitchen too.. kekeke

Ya, it's sure interesting to find so many differnt types of layout within the 3-roomers alone. We r so lucky to hv the larger 3A compared to other 3-roomers, arent we? U r so right bro! Before my reno, there's no way to fit a dining table in the LH. Thus i nvr had anyone over for a meal or so. Simply not conducive to hv it in the kitchen I'm lucky to be able to re-config it a bit to what i hv today. Enjoy having my buddies & kakis over for gathering now.. U still hv time to study & review ur needs. Tok to more IDs/contractors. U'll b surprised at wat brilliant ideas some of these fellas may hv for u to achieve ur goals! After all, they hv done up more hses than we hv seen ourselves ya! Er.. by the way, u may wish to reconsider having a ceiling fan in the kitchen. I hv a ceiling fan each in my LH, MBR & BR2. Without oil & grime, already need to clean them every 1-2 months. Imagine the condition in the kitchen..

Dun worry bro! Sure there's a way to do it. U wont be the first one in ur type of flat to run City pipe gas to the MBR toilet lah! Probably ur ID/contractor, or the guys from City Gas can advise u. Cheers!

[i regreted a little doing mine with not enof homework (like reading up on RT). if i'm gonna do it again next time, will sure stay cool & take more time ] Me no have T-Blog. Thought of starting one but too lazy lor.. I've a storeroom like urs between the LH & kitchen. Essential for me to keep it for bulky & unsightly stuff, esp with folk at hm. In fact, i hacked the original storeroom which was part of LH area) and re-erected it into the kitchen area (as it was a relatively large kitchen) to make the LH larger. Mine a 74sqm 3A. Wonder what's the size of a new 3-rm BTO now like urs?
