Hi, for the installing of the pull out tray, was it done by your contractor? Did ur contractor tell you what kind of measurements suit your cabinet or you provide them the tray size you have chosen and they just custom the cabinets in accordance to the tray? I am looking to install a few of such pull out trays into my kitchen cabinets and was wondering if it can be done. In addition, mind if you can let me know how much it cost for you to ship this over and the total cost you spend for this? Apologies for the many qns. TIA.

Wow! Tatz a super detailed information about the BLUM, hinges and runners.. Will check and share with the selected ID and make sure at least 2 drawers can hold up to 40kg.. and the need to have good hinges and runners for the rest. Thanks once again for sharing your knowledge with me..

Thanks for the great advice here.. Is urs BLUM runners too? I find BLUM is overrated n overpriced due to branding.. Though m not v sure if in terms of quality they r better runners in the mkt..

I used to have drawing baskets from Song-Cho in my previous 2 hses.. love them to max, as i can see my items at one glance.. but like u said.. the unevenness n limited dimensions are the down side.. I have showed this to one of the IDs i have shortlisted.. n he went.. 'Oh this is the blum system' hahaha.. I said.. no.. tis is a look alike blum system drawers.. Will be doing tis for my tall unit and noted on the drawer runners.. Thanks a lot OceanEleven!

U r really good w details.. Thanks a lot. One of the ID charged me $240 per foot for full height cabinet.. Not sure watz d mkt rate now as I have others tat charged more.. The DVDs are to be kept in the cabinets.. N we have at least 2 dhl jumbo boxes keeping them now.. Thus the requirement for cabinet space at tv console area.. Whilst having said tat.. U have said out my concerns for glass display cabinets for HIS TROPHIES!! Hopeing to find a way where he can SHOW yet can MINIMISE CLEANING.. Headaches!! Actually, we areadi have our 50" LED samsung tv mounted on wall w soundbar, so.. Tats not much of an issue.. Coz either mount on or stand.. With the intention of refurbishing my current unit, the mounted on TV will have to be unmounted.. Heh Haiz... Did show the consoles from TB/Tmall to hubby, but he no interest.. Really grateful for ur detailed info.. Will look further into tis tough 'project' of mine..

Am having a headache thinking how my house tv console cum cabinet shld look like as my hubby has lots of dvds, and wants also display area for his trophies.. Appreciate your help. TIA

Glad to have decided to revisit your blog again.. Actually to read up abt TB buying process.. end up saw your post abt vinyl.. Am contemplating to have it in my resale unit.. one of the ID's suggested SUPREME brand (i havent shortlist my ID yet), but I was concern abt the gas thingy as i have 3 young kids and a dog.. Was there a reason y u did not select SUPREME?
