Agreed with cleong, looking at your photos. Definitely need more than two weeks, that is if your ID commit more people and organise different group to come and work. Very tight co-ordination, if your ID is weak, cannot push his contractors to come. Then jialat liao. Suggest you think of other plans and not move in in this kind of condition.

Your masonary and wetwork done already? If yes, and like you say doing minimal is still lah. But what about your stuffs from old house? How do you moved them in if carperty are not done?

One thing i learned from my reno is, 3D drawings are for reference and not to expect 100% for the end product. You got to be realistic and know your space if it can accomodate the design. Next important thing is Are all those carpentry works included in the quote? soft furnishings do not count, it is just a suggestion for you.

Anyone can offer me some advice? My dining area seems to "lack" of something.

Then you need another measurement by your kitchen surface top to come + delivery, then if you have glass backing for the kitchen wall. After surface is installed, then can measure. Think you have to push your contractor/ID to give a detailed planning. Otherwise 1 or 2 weeks is not enough, if you want to wait until everything is complete to move your stuffs in.
