  4. On the road, congrats to your smooth progress, your reno looks good!
  5. Bib spray beside the WC. Little details, but essential to note.
  6. Happen to get a good deal, and since it looks different and nice, so just bought it. My A&A hopefully within 3 - 4 months, including submission/approval.
  7. All my L1 floor tiles have been removed. Have also activated anti-terminte Co to conduct underground survey today before carrying out anti-termite treatment subsequently .
  8. For landed housing, there are 2 main issues need to take extra care: roof leakage and termite.
  9. From the photo of your house, with the meter at the gate, I believe yours should be 3 phase already. For the charging of the electric car, i think can be done. Find out first the electric car charging capacity, maybe a 15 amp or 20 amps isolator provided at the carporch area could be sufficient.
  10. Try to call their corporate office 65959188. Understand it will cost about $450 for landed housing.
  11. IS your board and meter inside the house? There is a breaker there, see the reading on it? 3 phase: better if there are alot of electrical appliances in the house
  12. Electrical power supply.Old house usually comes with single phase 63amps, and electrical meter is usually inside the gate. For new build, have to go to 3 phase, and need to shift the electrical meter to the main gate post.
  13. Mine is not even SCV or Opennet ready. This morning, just met up with SCV guys to determine the work scope and location of junction box on site. Also made appointment with Opennet in July to run their cable in.
  14. Saw some nice bathroom accessories, so just bought it first, even though my house is still not ready: Towel rack: brand kueco from Germany
  15. You are observant, yes, slightly higher than normal for the row of houses which I bought. 450mm difference,
  16. Well maybe, still thinking. Cassette got pros and cons. Will have lower ceiling, drainage for cassette, need gradient flow, so can make ceiling even lower. otherwise got to use drainage pump, waste electricity, and if pump fail, overflow.
  17. Thoroughly enjoying this journey of transformation every bit, the thrill of new ideas, new discoveries, new challenges. Mixing aesthetics with functionality. Accepting constraints and creating values! Many thanks to these guys, who labour to transform my house! Thank you gentlemen.
  18. Yes, you are right, i love open concept, re-position the original kitchen from behind the stairs, to the other side, so as to create a see through, dry and wet kitchen, all in one straight line-of sight, from the main entrance. In this way, I enhance the flow of air from the front all the way to the backyard, as well as bring natural light to the middle (which is usually dark for terrance houses. Simple layout but yet, most 'seamless'.
  19. L1 walls demolition work almost completed! My contractor was very fast and efficient. Didn't even ask for any payment so far!
  20. Yes, current railing is metal and wood. Want to change to glass with stainless steel. http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w448/jumbopanther/journey202.jpg
