  1. Even though there is no leakages in my house, but still decide to change the roof tiles as they are the 20+ years old, concrete tiles which will be brittle throughout the years. Have opted for the more expensive but trusted 'German' tiles. Before After
  2. I have used movers from Breakthrough Missions, never had any complaints, only compliments, even my church friends and family members use them.
  3. Hi, yr semi D ilabd area is big, 4000+ sq ft and only build in 1500+, just wondering how much A&A work or extension work u intend to do. Pls do check URA requirement on the rules of A&A, especially if more than 50%
  4. Actually also depends on whether need to do piling, strengthening works etc, yr PE will advise. I had also asked before previously, will cost about $150k to add 1 more storey.
  5. Sorry for saying this, based on the photos shown, the carpentry workmanship was not up to mark.
  6. My contractor also told me if use not so good tiles, the surface will be rough and therefore will trap dirty or algae forming. Therefore, he recommended me to use the "German' tiles, glossy shiny type for better rain flow and can last longer.
  7. Yup, mine is A&A, money spent also Add & Add. I have just confirmed quote to replace the existing roof too. Another big ticket item, but think is essential. Roof and anti- termite.
  8. Using proper tiling mix instead of normal cement for tiles. Understand that this is better to firmly secure tiles.
  9. Hi inner light, I bought it from Waterworks at 27 krangji link
  10. Coming to almost 2 months of renovation. Start to see my designed intent forming shape. Met up my new neighbours once outside the house and was given feedback that my contractors were very good. kept the surrounding place clean and keeping to the timing of construction. Even want me to recommend to them for their own renovation. Indeed, was extremely pleased with this contractor, giving me good quality works so far and not cutting corners. Most important of all, feel very comfortable working together with them, giving me very practical ideas, probably because of their experience. Not only doing water proofing on the floor, but also volunteered to do water proofing on the shower area walls.
  11. Sorry to hear abt your painful experience, for me, my principle is never get relatives to do main contracting work. In this sense, my current contractor is quite good, work for more than 2 months already still have not ask me for any payment at all. Even my Neighbour complimented their work during this major renovation period for keeping the surrounding area clean
  12. I am currently doing A&A to my terrace Hse, my builder is quite good, even my neighbor said they are good
  13. Hi how did u do it, rebuild to 3 sty without piling? Is that possible?
  14. Hi, Can share the Malaysia contact for the wardrobe? Looks nice.
  15. Hi notice there are exposed screws, are they stainless steel? If not, they may rust when expose to rainwater if installed outdoor.
  16. Hi, I am interested in the glass and stainless steel railing too, can let me know how much contractor charge you? Can give contact of contractor too pls?
  17. Have been busy coordinating works with the contractors on site: electrical, plumbing and aircon. Show some more photos of what i have bought for the house: double head tap for wash area (direct down flow + cconnecting to hose)
  18. If you got young children, will be safer to fence the compressors up because the fans turn when aircon operates. Got autogate system?
  19. Hi there, nice selection of taps. Your carporch looks big, should be able to can park 2 cars. Did you change the driveway tiles? Notice you have 2 Mitshibushi compressors only, for the whole house?
