For wall : Can see from the wall thickness where the window is placed. If it's more than 5mm, chances are it's overlay. For Floor : Can see from the door kurb. if it's more than 50mm, chances are it's overlay. But still can't guarantee 100% ansewerd ur question unless we hack it off.

The tiler has a good advice, that's better way to do it. Even if ur room looks squarish from the floor plan, but pls be aware that sometimes a wall might be slanted by few cm. So if u start the tiles from the wall, chances are, there will be a tiny piece of tiles once u reach the other side of the wall.

not only quality that needed to be concern on, but also if it's qualified the PUB requirements. Because some lighting from overseas are not qualified by PUB.

After u re-polish the granite, it will be match with any kind of theme of design. Because granite is always comes in natural feeling that can blend well with any kind of theme of design.

Yes, it is posible and approved by HDB. But for parquet flooring need to remove the extg parquet first. New flooring can't lay on top of the parquet flooring.
