ikea cutlery.. totally CMI! starts to turn rusty after 1st wash, and even though i seldom use. I threw away several knives and forks.. regretted in buying.. thinking was cheap and look pretty good back then.. I still have 1 pack unopened.. Hmm another thing i feel useless is cozy corner. seriously other than sitting on the sofa, watching tv and sit infront of computer, we nv use the cozy corner at all.. Such a waste to built a nice platform and does nothing there..

my idea is remove wall tiles, plaster and paint.. i just called my mum and told her.. she said she prefer wall tiles.. and say tml contractor will come down and arga give qoutation.

opps some misunderstanding.. no issue on floor tiles lah.. haha.. mainly wall tiles.. can use easy wash paint.. else.. can always repaint right??

bo bian you see.. more than 10 yrs liao.. bound to be faulty.. now i really thinking hard.. other than the cabinet area ah.. the opposite wall got nothing lor.. but filled with wall tiles.. i think wasted though.. probably can hack that area... then plaster and repaint it..

my initial idea is hack away partial tiles at sink area only.. then backing part just cover with SS backing.. till now then we know.. quite a no. of areas.. the tiles are cracked.. i now reading around.. doing wall tiles is indeed not cheap. i rem aunty kat also didnt do wall tiles right? she use paint instead.. hmm.. but if use paint.. then need plastering liao.. which is another cost there.. i feel machiam like renovating my own house..

I prefer to have some ideas in mind 1st.. then talk to contractor.. my mum just called me.. saying she decided to redo kitchen tiles.. but i think will be pretty costly leh.. before that i urge her to do.. because quite a no. of crack tiles plus sink area tiles also very very dirty liao.. she commented expensive.. is indeed quite ex sia.. i saw forum qoutes.. is like 3k plus to hack and re-tile..
