  1. Mine was a special case, have to appeal one.
  2. Hi i bought my unit for around 460k Unfortunately my budget is tight as i'm getting this alone, a rehaul of the staircase would cost around 5k at least, and minor works on it, does'nt seem to do much. Also not planning to hack, due to various reason, budget being one of them. Sigh, can't really do the place justice, but on budget la, what to do, lol!
  3. Sorry for the lack of updates, still streamlining the IDs. Chinese New Year, everybody not working. Wendy, i'll take some pics of the study area when i get the chance, pretty much a useless area to me though. you can knock off the walls in between, such that the room downstairs is even bigger then the MBR upstairs. My loft is different from Treelodge one, don't have the open terrace, but i'm not into alfresco dining. So thats one less headache for me ^_^ The place is a little too big for one person though.
  4. Hi all, Just got my unit recently, and because of the coming Chinese New Yr, with IDs and contracters taking a break and all, i have some time to think about what kinda design i want. Anyways, My living room has a high ceiling, and its rather spacious. However, due to the staircase, i realised that space planning is proving to be a nightmare. Here are some really LOUSY pics i took, would appreciate any comments/ideas, on how you guys would do the place up. Don't have a huge budget and prefer modern/minimalism look. So i'm thinking minimal carpentry, and splurging maybe a little more on focal pt items, like a really nice hanging light, etc...
  5. Went down for a look, and arranged for an ID to come take a look. Not sure if its cause i said my budget low or the chinese new yr is around the corner, quotation will be out only in 01 Feb. Oh well, anyways I need more time to source for more IDs. Initial thoughts, since i will only be focusing on the living room, kitchen, Master Bedroom upstairs. I think i can keep within my budget. The Id gave some ideas, and I also have my own ideas to utilize the huge wall and high ceilings in living room. In fact, the more i think about it, the more i feel i dun need an ID other then the convenience of everything-in-one. Anyways, here are some pics for those that are interested. Comments/Ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!! [/url
  6. Thanks! no, its HDB, Loft concept under Punggol Sapphire Still dilemma on how to fully utilize the space.
