My Em curtains and roller blinds was done by this guy by the name Tommy. He claimed he has 1year warranty for workmanship bla bla bla... The chain of the roller blind came off after 3months, called him, he nvr pick up. That moment, I knw it...the moment of truth. He send me whatsapp, saying that he actually stopped doing business, he going outstation 6months, he bla bla bla. It is so scary, there are so many those fly by night companies out there. They may be slightly cheaper than others, but when things happen, dont expect any service fm them.

Gd evening gentlemen, Thk u for the replies. I hv sent an email to the Cellini customer care & they say they will chk with their factory. I don't know whthr they are just patronizing me or what. Anyway, I hv not made full payment due to some hiccups here & there. If u see clearly in the pics, it looks like there are cracks on the grains which causes the rough patches & "sandpaper effect" when I brush my hand along that area. No other areas of the sofa feels like that.

When I use my hands to sweep that area, I can feel a patch of roughness...the feeling is like, there's a coat of dust settling upon the leather but cannot be rubbed away. Please help to give some advise as to what can be done.

Jus to add, paya lebar displayed the red color bedframe with 4" chrome legs. They dlvrd me the red bed with 6" grey color legs...faint!! I called them, the prc still dared to tell me oh..there is only one model in the system, its this. So i told her, i went bk to paua lebar chk, cfm chrome legs nt grey n its 4". Then she say display is display...system canot choose legs. I told her in the first place i wanted exactly the same, if customers cant choose legs then u display for wat? its only when i said i got more things to buy fm starliving then she starts to budge. Terrible after sales service...or i shud say no service at all.

I ordered a queen bed model "ice" for my daughter. Saw it at paya lebar bt place order with amk branch since i was served by kingcoil auntie all these while. But downside is amk did nt display tat model. So i told the sales person a prc lady tat i want exactly the same as display set at paya lebar. (ice is under starliving so nutin to do with kingcoil) They gave me 100% guarantee..no worries she say. Guess wat, as usual the story goes...WRONG!!! When will tere ever be a honest furniture retailer?

The cellini sofa is a big eyesore...big rgrt.

eekenji, doing flooring for 5rm flat with 50k budget is achievable.

Just sharing my still ongoing reno experience... I budgeted 70% for reno and 30% for my furnishings for a disposable amount. In the end, both sides also exceeded. Unless you are very very disciplined, u need to set aside a buffer of 20%. Most ppl mentality, " aiya, alrdy spent so much, give a little more to perfect that thing"...end up burst budget.

What are these?

Placing the sofa at the curve window means...sofa hv to be customised. Would set her back at least 3~4k for only a 3seater. Placing the sofa facing the 4500mm wall is where most ppl would do it. Plus if u hv surround sound, tat would be fantabulous!!! My current sofa is against the wall, sound not tat fantabulous... U can consider getting yr contractor to do a curve settee at the window.

5Rm to do a decent whole hse reno, I saw my contractor's another project in the midst of my reno....owner din do flooring, wiring not inclusive, alrdy 40k. Therefore, i tin u would stretch beyond 30k. Nonetheless, u got a very nice layout.

Ya..hardly seen any who can still maintain their gd services after business expanded. They hv forgotten abt their humble beginnings. Anyway, im giving them a pass...plenty out there. My philosophy, im only afraid tat I hv got no money. Got money...sure got suppliers.

Mine was bundled in during the quotation stage, material is pvc wood is thick plywood (i suppose). I cant remember hw long but fm the picture, 2 and a 1/2 window panels is aprx 5ft. Dont worry abt kids spilling this or that, that is part n parcel of growing up. Fond memories of them growing up if u think the other way. U can tell them, "see...this is what u have done..LOL".

So sweet of u to extend this invitation. I would loved to but my schedules are alrdy so tight for this whole week plus working late nights. Thks again but im gona give them a miss cause they doesnt sound too keen when I invite them to my place to give me a quotation.

Any kind souls would like to recommend reliable & reasonably priced for curtains + roller blinds?
