yup thats another alternative, but i prefer to place the bed against a solid wall with no windows hence need to block the toilet entrance. oh that layout for my kitchen is not final, i think we going for the traditional way but its really neat in this manner and sort of create a "service balcony" for us. if you look around, the trees are full of litter also! and my unit is just beside the the drop off point (the sheltered area), i saw all sort of rubbish hahaha

Btw, is your toilet door facing ur bed? Still trying to find ways to solve this

we intend to go for modern balinese style.... 1. MBR too small need to hack, and it faces the toilet door which i hate it, hence needs a feature wall to block the toilet door. 2. Living room (near the windows) - platform for study area and dining area. Intend to swap the dining room next to the window. so that sofa area will be bigger. 3. Kitchen, i guess we do not have much choice since its so small

Hi Everyone, Just got the keys to our new flat from the sale of balance flat - Sep11. We were lucky to get a unit at kallang heights. Love the location though its really expensive Anyway here is our floor plan, got headache with the layout of master bedroom and and kitchen. Here is the suggested layout, please give me some comments!!
