  1. Very BAD experience with the william (hp 9150xxxx) which is been recommended by some forumers here earlier! I called him 2 weeks ago to arrange for an appt to fix my spoilt lights and over the phone he indeed sounded friendly and nice, An appt was schedule on 22 Jun 2013 (Sat) afternoon, but on that Sat morning I watsapp him to remind him of the appt, he then replied he injured his legs so hv to postone till today (2 Jul 2013 11am). Guess what?! I waited from 11am till 12.30pm and tried contacting him but he nvr answer my watsapp or calls!! Actually i even watsapp him lastnite to remind him today's appt, but he nvr reply! If you still wish to engage this William, better think twice unless u like to waitttt...... for NOTHING!
  2. I gt my whole flat's lightings fr Extreme Lighting (at 371 Balestier Road)... Their pricing is quite competitive and I realised that u could bargain to get more disc. & even freebies! The saleman was friendly & has gd knowledge abt his stuffs... hahaa! But their after-sale service is what I wld like to share here... Initially, one lighting at my living rm was faulty and I hv barely stayed 1 mth in my new hse, so I called them up. Their staff, called Daniel, picked up and promptly arranged for a date to send their contractor to check out the prob at my hse... (which was reli a thanks-heaven to me)! Their contractor turned up at my hse and realised that my family hv accidenly switch off the 'main board' which caused the lighting unable to b connected... Though it was not their fault, the contractor patient explained to us on the "technical reason" before leaving... Well, it's was of cos quite paisei for us who hv falsely accused them... Thus I thought of sharing tis little experience wif the folks at Renotalk, as I truly felt that Extreme Lighting is responsible seller and sincere in doing their business, which provides great assurance to the buyers!

  4. I bought my dinning set and TV console from star living (paya lebar branch)... So far so GOOD! The malay saleman was v patient and friendly, he let me try matching diff chair to the dinning table till I could finally decide on one...What I like most is that the staff is not those pushy type, who only try to sell the exp items... The delivery was came within the pre-arranged timing and the delivery men were v meticulous in handling the items... As i hv only stayed in my new hse for 1 mth, thus i couldn't comment on the durability, but so far it gives me no prob! *TOUCHWOOD* Hope my review could b useful...
  5. I have my kitchen cabinet & wardrobes done by Classic Furniture, located at level 3 Tanjong Katong complex... Have been receiving positive feedback from my relatives & friends who visited my house on their workmanship.... but pricing wise is kinda steep... but at the end of the day, u get what u paid for...

  7. After reading much positive reviews on EverJoint, I decided to buy the water heater (Joven 25L) from them. Indeed, they are selling a reasonable price (ie. $359 with installation svr). However, I learnt the lesson that GOOD THING DOES NOT COME CHEAP! The installation was done on 6 Feb 2012, but it broke down last week, which is less than 1 month! I called up Everjoint and was answered by a guy who cannot speak properly, except repeating that "they have nothing to do with it, as their are only the agent, so just call Joven directly...." Luckily, Joven did send their staff down and realised that when everjoint installed the heater, the installation was faulty! The worst thing is that the everjoint uncle did not install the pipes correctly, as he did not install the 3rd pipe which is supposed to let the excess hot water to be drained out of the storage tank. This meant that if I were to forget switching off the heater, it will explode as there is no pipe to drain out the excess heat!!! So what if they are offering cheap deal while compromising the most impt safety issue! Not forgetting that how irresponisble and lack of after-sale service everjoint is! If i'm the sole unlucky customer of everjoint, I hope this feedback could at least serve as a precaution for other pple...
  8. Hi, my aunt just has her house painted b4 the CNY by this painter called Ah Hua. She is very satisfied by his painting skill and efficiency (finished her 4-rm flat nicely within 2 days with all her furniture intact). =) Most imptly, she felt that he is responsible & friendly, thus she wld like me to help recommending him to other flat owners.
