  1. Yah actually the kitchen light is one of the unexpected cost. We initially wanted to get the "milo tin" lights but the kitchen is too big for that Not bright enough. In order to ensure max brightness , we need to get the rectangular one which looks normal to us but twice the price You can go Vlux to take a look and have a rough gauge. then play around with the figues Usually Angeline will recommend Vlux
  2. It's Angeline "style" lights. haha When we were there, Andy, the sale person attending to us keep telling us "Oh, Angeline always use this kind of lights"
  3. Hi Dfish, The $1850 consist of the following. simple looking but expensive Never knew lights could cost so much. The cost is better explain in pics 1* Dining Lights Effect that the light will bring out. 15 * downlights 1 * 2 set of halogen 1 * 3 set of halogen 3 * single halogen lights 4 * Florencent tube - Normal warm light tubes 3 * hamburger light 2 * Bedroom lights in red and silver 2 * Kitchen lights
  4. Very fast indeed. Angeline told us that all will be ready in 2weeks. ah_guan & me are like jaw drop to the ground. She's very efficient. We met her on Sunday for discussion with the electrican and air-con ppl @ the hse. Ystd night , the floor is protected with cardboard. i think the workers are there today doing the trunking and paint works now. Yah , it's recommended by ID. It's on abit on the high side but we're lazy to shop for more. It's within our budget so we *close 1 eye* No strength to go ask shop by shop
  5. Is is calculated using per Sqfoot or per tile? the 600 x 600 homo tiles that we saw cost $3.80 per sq foot. BTW they will be able to get the tiles at a very very low rate so is the contracter trying to "tok" u?
  6. Is it because of the type of tiles issued for the flat ? For our case like , the HDB officer told my hubby (i'm ah_guan's wifey) that because our flat was issued with ceremics tiles so it's 400 x 400. And we can only choose from what they are using now which is choice of pink or blue That's why we decided to top up and change to tiles that we like. BTW I happen to know someone who stays at Buangkok who got 600 x 600 tiles but it's homo tiles instead. Also the retail price of 400 x 400 ceremic tiles VS 600 x 600 homo tiles is almost double when we compare at the showroom. So maybe this is also why they are not willing to replace.
