  1. yes i have received my refund n t loan set removed by yest. n yes of cos i know my husband is nice, too nice to allow the initial delays to happen n thus i stepped in thereafter. i agreed with others here that by refunding us doesnt means it compensate us in our mental stress, time chasing n calling after a number dat is always engaged and, ridiculous excuses. refund was just a mandate thing to do, it wasnt compensation in any form. so pls do not think that by refunding us, u can restore credit n faith and make us look like we are troublemakers despite a refund. our experience n voices here will help others in similar plight to know what other avenues and choices they have, than to just suffer the stress and ordeal in silence. aside to all, many thanks for sharing info and updates throughout the past few months. appreciate all help n tips.
  2. Elson called and says they will arrange for this Thur again, say cos need boss to sign on the cash cheque, then they go and cash it out before collecting the T loan. Just wondering why this wasn't done in the first place before 20th?!!! albertchng: u r right, should have went ahead with SCT first since SCT also need to wait. Telling husband to submit/fax it this 2 days. Cheryl78: since the very beginning i have been corresponding with them via email, all black and white with dates, timing etc. I even printed it out (including this thread) and wanted to submit to SCT with all other documents. Really last straw...no further excuses will be entertained.
  3. Failed to show up yesterday. Called Elson and he said office closed and he can't get anyone to check for me, will call and update me today. Was about to submit my application to SCT when Excellence Home started replying to this thread, and got me believing that my refund will come. We had wanted to buy a sofa from Lorenzo (ready stock and can deliver within the week) but had to wait till yesterday to see if the refund comes. Disappointment again, and now I can't even bother to shout or be angry anymore. Admin of Excellence Home, read this: ONE LAST CHANCE, IF NOT, STRAIGHT TO SCT WITHOUT ANYMORE NEGOTIATION. AND I WILL DEMAND NOT JUST REFUND BUT COMPENSATION ON MY TIME AND MENTAL WELL-BEING, STRESSING OVER THIS MATTER.
  4. and to think i have actually emailed most organisors about our plight..and they can still get a booth at Expo... we have decided to go the small claims route with them cos they refuse to refund before collecting the T-loan set...n have even ask us to return original invoice to them upon collection of T-loan set...what if the cheque bounced? we dont want to be left with no furniture and no invoice... have prepared all documents, forms, and emails correspondence to go to small claims...dont know how long this will drag on...can get the stakeholders details thru ACRA online...
  5. daren called me yesterday, say they cant do the dimension i want. Ask if i can accept the current sofa with a $300 discount. I asked where is the other sofa that u said just arrived (color combi right but dimension wrong set)? He paused and seems a bit lost (must have forgotten what "story" he used previously), and said he delivered to someone else already since i didn't wanted it. So fast!! 1 day ago only and he gave it to someone else!! such a coincidence! finally said ok to refund but after 7th day of CNY cos they only start work then...i said ok and email him to state that we will only accept cash refund if not, send us the cheque earlier and we will return the sofa once cheque is cashed. and if they dont agree, small claims we will still proceed to...how to trust them after so many incidents!! friend told me Singapore Furniture Asso is useless also, so perhaps media is the best way now. husband went down before and apparently no one seems to be in the office...line is forever engaged...email at least still got some documentation...
  6. we got a new "story" from them, call and tell me this time color combi correct but dimension wrong, wont be able to deliver by 20th Jan. Say they will order another sofa with a slightly 2cm different from my original order cos supplier cannot do the exact dimension that i original ordered. I refuse to continue waiting, told them i want to cancel order n get back my refund, wrote them email on this. Daren replied n said they already ordered the replacement sofa with the slight 2cm difference from my original order, so cant refund me back...WTH!!! i replied telling him i did not agree to getting that replacement or continue waiting for something that will never come!!! im freaking angry now...freaking freaking angry!!

  9. hey pple... as mentioned to hsannaung in a PM earlier, i wrote an email to Expo to inform them about how irresponsible they were and Expo forwarded my email to the organiser of Home Living, Full House. Full House called me and say that they will pursue this matter on their end and press them about this also. Asked me to continue following up with Excellence Home on my end too. If need be, they will also bring this up to Furniture Association. You guys might want to alert and let FullHouse know about your story too, though I did forward this thread to them to let them know there are others in similar plight. So once 20th Jan deadline lapse, we will proceed to complain to Singapore Furniture Association (and make sure they cant do any more business in SG) and also officially go to Small Claims Tribunal, pay $10 admin fee and get small claims to issue them a notice of attendance. Singapore Furniture Association hotline: 6298 1600 CASE is useless i think. I am going to update Fullhouse of our cases as well.   10. Update: i am still negotiating with them, all via email now, as i want black and white from them. They say will deliver before Chinese New Year. And when asked what happens if delivery is still not done by then, they have no answer for me....don't know how long this will drag till...
  11. hi all, very very sad to say dat i am one of those unfortunate customer of this stupid company...we bought a sofa in aug and delivery was supposed to be on 5 nov, after 3 delays and some shouting at marcus and elson, finally sofa came in yesterday with wrong colour combi and wrong dimension...!! was asked by elson to compromise with the order since ONLY ONE HEADREST IS WRONG IN COLOUR!...say it was fault of manufacuturer...i told him off saying thats his prob and dont make it into my prob..!! was totally fed up and pissed with this company n their attitude...and all the bull**** and stories abt delay in shipping...office line is always engaged and when my husband went down to their showroom, office was empty, was told by marcus who has already left the company says that they r always at expo... today husband called n ask when can the replacement come in? he says need to check n they only work after 1pm!!...totally pissed... im gonna call elson tmr n ask for full refund of our deposit...
