there's a shop in jalan sultan that sells for $70 psf including install. but i believe with a thinner cut and limited pattern choices. it is a shop on the ground floor facing the road, and beside the food court.

you definitely need to remove the old door frame. there is no need to hack the wall though, unless you want a glass door that is wider than existing door opening.

i actually have an answer to that. once i had food scrap on the kitchen top, and the ants were having a feast. so i drew a circle around them. it was funny watching them. they went near the chalk, but was not able to cross the line, so they kept walking around in circle trying to find a way out. i can see lots of communication going on as well.... 15 minutes later....all i see was black specks on the top. there are no contents stated in the packaging. but there was a patent pending notice.

the speaker stand, the amplifier, subwoofers are the constraints. they are the "unchangeables" in the setup. thus the color silver/grey will play a part in the final picture. the painting of the tv console is just to test the color concept only. i've not figured out what the final console design is going to be......i wanna exposed some cables, but also wanna hide some.....headache right....when i am smoking in a starbucks somewhere, maybe i might just see the image forming in the smoke. quite fun.....just read about painting techniques. there's a few you can use to create different textures on the surface you paint with. will start another re-painting project 2 weeks later.

i only had a camera phone....not exactly good for close-up detailed shots, or a nice wide view. my girlfriend had promised to do a nice photoshoot using her SLR. (*** HELLO, are you listening......) will attached my cabinet drawings instead. this is not the final version though.....dunno where i left that piece of paper. in my opinion, a customized warerobe makes more sense. mind you, not customized by the seller, carpenter or ID, but you. you will take stock of what kind of storages you need, and design the storage cubes configuration accordingly. remember to built at least 20% extra space to what you need...so it does not get clutter too fast after you move in. and the advantages of choosing your finishes and trims......

you married a lifelong committed pest buster.....heehee. i wish i can create a little space in my house where the pest can come visit and play, come and stay whenever they want, but leave the rest of the house alone....

it's a lifelong committment. my friend's wife commented that she thought there are no ants at her place. and one day while she was cleaning the top kitchen cabinet which has not been used for a year, she found an ant's nest there.

hi jshome.....so funny i had did the same thing last night. followed a TEAM of ants from kitchen top all the way to my black tile floor. they were totally in camo mode when they march alone the black grout lines, and said hi to the other team coming from the other way. they walk across the entire kitchen floor and then proceed to the dining room. while they are crawling through the oak-looking laminated floor, again it is impossible to spot them unless i had direct bright led following them. they ended up at the foot of my teak table. i applied my magic chalk along the trail and voila, 15 minutes later.....dead ants everywhere.....lol. had to use vacumn to help me in the corpse clearing since there is so many of them.... i'd tried many "versions" of ant killer products, and this is the only one that really works for me. thanks to maydream for the recommendations!

oh dear.....this looks like the kitchen cabinet story of a friend.... he also had a super sub standard job like yours, and got the carpenter to re-do like 5 times over 2 months and it was still horrible. basically if the structure is not done to specs, no modification can make it good. my friend withheld payment from the contractor, and contractor also did not pay carpenter. i heard the carpenter even call my friend to chase payment, and he told him to come and bring the carpentry back.....lol. he intends to tear it down and built new one ny the way.....

no wonder they create 2 versions.....each version has it's own lovers.....haha. actually i fell in love with the smooth version first, so i requested a bigger sample. did not like it, so then asked for a sample of the textured version, and the rest is history.....lol.
