get new ones...and contrary to popular belief, your old aircon can be sold for a price. both your contractor and aircon guy will probably disagre, so you may have to contact those aircon garang-guni man directly.

i saw this in a couple of places. size about 900mm by 900mm (squarish type), and cost $600 i believe. not a bad idea as it keeps your shower area exterior dry.

mine is on like 12 hours a day.....but i kept it at a high 24c. but that's good enough for me, as i don't get any direct sunlight into my unit.

aircon must definitely install during renovations. this gives you the opportunity to plan and aircon trunking (for both the gas and the waste water output) along with your existing false ceiling and electrical trunking plans, unless you have extensive false ceiling to be put in place. also install the maximum units you can afford. cos an additional blower does not cost that much extra. to try to install an extra compressor/blower at a later date means new trunking lines.

300 is market rate. like that your contractor also want to earn.... anyway, it is more favorable for your contractor to get someone he is familiar with....cos if PE fails the endorsement, that is a major setup in the renovations.

may i ask how much is #2 and #6? didn't know zhng house is like zhng car.....every few months can change themes....lol
