  1. there's no cheap or expensive paint...only branded or non-branded....lol. the expensive ones are those with all the extra additives, like non-odor, added teflon....etc. tell to your painters, and seek their opinion on how to get the textile you want. even if there is a top-up, it should be worth it.....you don't want to repaint after the furnishing is in the house.
  2. did you choose the matt color? dark colors are usually matt, not silky or shiny sheen.
  3. the first time i change, yes. i think i top up another 200 to re-paint to another color. the painters screw up big time with that color, and they then help me repaint to a 3rd color for free.
  4. heehee....byt seriously, even the dark tone (no change of color) has like 6 coats, and the painter has to add some base grey to the original paint to make it "darker".
  5. if there are many kids, you would rather they be living below your unit than above yours.....heehee.... i also close my dining windows between 4-8pm, in case the curry/belachan smells comes into my living/dining area.
  6. i also search high and low for the tv swivel that can go up down left right and can take a 60". i found mine in SLT for $160. where did you get yours?
  7. yes ma'am....just now got no patience. just wanted to try if it works.
  8. yup....baking soda and vinegar are my favorite friends. they are used to cooking, cleaning, deodorizing and much more. i try as much not to use commerical cleaners. when my neighbors fry belachan, i will boil a pot of water and add baking soda and vinegar. it deodorize the kitchen in a jiffy. it beats any air spray.
  9. lol....i happen to have lemon juice and baking soda at home. just tried it....cool....remove 3/4 of the rust stains. now left with a very minor stain when i could have mistook for a dead ant corpse. lol. thanks aya.
  10. for once they are not magical when they met the rust...i think need the bangali to come with the polishing tool
  11. i threw away from of the cheapo racks from ikea already...it forms rust and the rust bites into my pristine white counter top....sob sob....
  12. display set or not, standard warranty still applies. i bought my 50" plasma for 999. every courts/denki/gaincity...etc outlet has a display set or two around...you just need to ask. some salesman might tell you, some will not bother. so go find a nice helpful chap before u ask. you can even try to bargain down another 10%.
  13. i can't see. if they are just picking up food, that is fine. i only worried that this is the renovation team.
  14. you never read the earlier post that you posted meh? they will wanna come and repair at times you are at work.
  15. they seem to be marching towards the back of my fridge....now i am really worried.
  16. after being away for 6 days, my kitchen and dining table is now occupied by mr and mrs blackie ants again.....sian......need to go on another termiantor session...
  17. the cushion fabric was from ikea.
  18. these are fairly inexpensive if you know where to look. you will also need to plan it early so that the electrician and carpenter can create the correct layout/space for you.
