stationary bike. but i already found the location for it.....beside the TV. watch TV and peddle. kill 2 birds with one stone. maybe i can put wheels on the dining table, and then i can convert the space into a yoga studio. better profit than mahjong rental. yoga at $10 an hour.

hmmm...can consider. but i scare get distracted when i keep admiring your nice renovation works...you stay in boon keng? i stay 3th floor. water confirmed from bottom up. thursday i told my contractor to go find the pipe on the ground floor to set the water flow setting to max.

how about 4 mahjong tables? i can charge $10/head for a 2 round game. my walls already "hong zhong" and "bai ban" already.

my dining area....feels hollow and empty. any suggestions on how to liven up that corner? perhaps add a pool table.....lol/

ooh....so i undestand now. 6th and 7th floor (of a 12 flr flat) gets the worst deal. i'm in a 7th florr now, and yes, the shower head pressure is as weak as it gets. i only get a good shower at 3am in the morning....lol. no wonder i find my tap girly.....sianz....gotta start replacing if i can find a masculine one.

thanks you. that is the precise reason why i like that area....old town charm, lotsa of parking even at 2am, lotsa hawker centres, lotsa 24hr supermarts. too bad the MRT digging is right in front of my flat now. gotta live with the dust and noise for a while. but can't complain, cos new mrt is right next to my door step. in my dreams, the perfect scenario is that i take lift down to ground floor, and hope into the lift to bring me down to MRT station. lol.

i said i was a lurker mah.....until i started post#1 via my own t-blog. lol like your tap....very manly. wanna swop with mine?

i thought those who gets water from bottom has individual pipes (i.e. no share with neighbors) those staying in the top gets the water from top down, and it is a shared pipe. and the last person (typicall 6th or 7th floor ) gets the least amount of water pressure. that is the reason i decided to go ahead with a long bath....cos it will not take 1/2 hour to fill up....lol

on sale....i think at 120.

you write and sound like a citygas sales person.....just kidding.....

the mixer is heavy...and i usually associate quality with the weight....lol. shower head can upgrade anytime....mixer requires a plumber.

the shower set is the $120 one that citygas is selling when you buy the gas water heater. i would see it is a great value buy, considering a nice looking instant heater set is about $250-$300. citygas option : 1) gas heater - 188 2) shower set - 120 3) connection of hot/cold pipes xxx instant heater option : 1) instant heater - 250 2) connection of hot/cold pipes xxx 3) 15A power point - 80 citygas turn out to be a little cheaply. anyway, did a few test on the citygas. the time to get hot water is pretty reasonable, 5-7 seconds. you can get as hot as you like, cos you can adjust the setting on the heater. if you max you the gas setting, and set a low on water pressure, you can get almost boiling hot water. i almost want to believe it is actually possible to fill up a bath tub using the citygas heater. however i am not able to use this option as the bathtub is located way too far from the water heater. staying on the 3rd floor alway yield an unexpected benefit. water pressure is really strong. but i guess the water bill will be "strong" as well. 2)

is that a whole piece of glass? can post a pic here to see.....kaypoh kaypoh a bit. nice to see what variations there is in the market.

my gal friend chose this, haha. oh...one point to take note about buying faucet. you have to be sure that it comes with all the necessary connectors. else you will have fun trying to look for one when the plumber is on site. consult your contractor. if he says it is ok, that when there's something missing, he will be responsible for the missing piece....lol .

last pic of the night.... man no like curtains, so he chose roller blinds instead. lol.

view from the balcony.

common toilet pics. during the design phase, i reach a burnt out stage, whereby i cannot choose tiles anymore. so i sketch out the "technical design", and let the contractor choose the tiles.

the last addition to the carpentry family. my hide-it-all cabinet by the front door entrace. home of modems, routers, gateways, opennet, scv and maybe some shoes too.
