i vote #3....lol. but to be honest, there is an issue with this choice. the water flows thru the 2 panels of glass, and you will get watermark inside the glass, and no way to clean it.

i hate the $100 charge to "CONNECT" the gas pipe to the hob. i mean when they come to "CONNECT/INSTALL" the gas heater it was a lot more work, and it's free. so when you compare the "connect gas to hob" which takes only 5 minutes, you don't see that rationale, other than it is a monopoly pricing. the gas heater is also pretty unstable. (it may be just my unit) i had the gas setting "perfected" two weeks ago, and suddenly it does not work anymore. i had to change the settings to get it to work the same way it used to be. very frustrating if you are in the middle of a bath.

i don't know what my solidtop brand is, but it was within the price range (a little lesser to be exact). I already had the solidtop guys came and polish my top once, as there was 2 mysterious stains. 1 was suspected to be coffee, but i think it is unlikely, as i make 3 cuppa every day, if coffee does stains that easily, i would have a bundle of stains by now. the other one was suspected to be caused by the wrapping of the chicken egg casing, cos the imprint matches the shape of that. maybe it may be wise to upgrade to those 120 and up brands. like a LG maybe.

got a couple of coffee makers to giveaways. self collect at bedok reservior road. pm if you are interested. the 5 cup coffee maker is new. the single serving maker has been used once.

this thing is very noisy.....when the water is not running at full strength. but the woman in the house would like this shower function, when water comes at you at a horizontal plane, via the 6 mini nozzles...so their hair stays dry.

the right metal paint(the one that bites immediately into your metal) and the right brush size(big enough to lessen your brushing strokes, but small enough to squeeze into the grille holes) helps in shortening the effort.

Finally i had a chance to do something to my metal gate at my recess area. It was a rusty brown gate. To replace it would set me back by 4 figures, but i would rather use this money for my new amplifier. some newspaper covering to kickstart the mini project. and while i was at it, i re-paint my shoe rack to the wall color. it is a nice $20 DIY, took only a couple of hours over 2 nights. the gate does not look like a new gate btw, but it looks a nicely restored one. an added benefit was that i knew a couple of new neighbors as well when they came over and chit chat.

oh.....the type not easy to clean. i regret having this type in my wet area. soup suds forms easily cos of the unsmooth surface.
