Advise My Electrical Quote For New 4 Rm Hdb
steadfast replied to Storm79's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
hi, just checking if yours is the new hdb flat with concealed wiring? if yes, can i know if there's any hacking works involved for the relocation of your powerpoint and switches? if there's hacking works, is it a separate cost other than the amount you listed? thanks! -
ya that's why, hack the door frame will affect the tiles which equals to more money. :S so no one has heard of fixing door glass on a doorframe before? just to add on, the existing doorframe is those metal doorframe if it makes any diff.

Hi all, just want to seek your advise. is it true that if i want to fix swing glass door for toilet entrance (not shower screen in toilet) that I will need to hack the existing doorframe? some companies I called says that this is the case. need to hack as they cannot fix the glass door on existing doorframe. others says its ok, no need to hack as they will use a special type of hinge. those who did toilet glass door before, would you be able to advise? thank you so much.

cool! have to agree if there's drainage problem, then no choice gotta use other tiles for the shower area. nonetheless, it still looks fantastic to me. i only know 2 other tile shops besides hafary, soon bee huat and white horse ceramics. will visit all 3 to see which one offers the best deals. thanks again kirinshibori!

Thank you so much kirinshibori for the photos and the detailed explanation. need some time to digest that and completely understand as im still reading up on lighting design. ahh, going crazy over your bathroom faux wood ceramic tiles! love it so much. been planning to get that instead of laminate flooring. tried looking through your thread on where you got the tiles but don't think you mentioned it. would you mind sharing? thank you!

hi your house really turned out great i must say. i notice that you installed a ceiling fan for your living room and did not install any cove/l-box or track lighting. is your living room light source only from the ceiling fan and also the downlight? if its not too much trouble to ask, do you mind putting up a photo of your living room with all the lights on at night? getting my home soon too and am not planning to get cove/l-box lighting but installing ceiling fan without light. so im at lost now as to what type of lighting will be sufficient. thanks in advance.

hi everyone, i am planning to install ceiling fan in my living room and bedrooms. but i do not wish to get the ceiling fan that comes with lights as i think it doesnt look very nice. to add on, i do not intend to do cove lighting or l-box lighting as well. so the other only option i know of is track lighting. is there any other type of lighting that anyone can recommend? and is track lighting a feasible idea when we have ceiling fan or the best bet would be to install cove/l-box lighting? advice is badly needed, thanks.

me considering to have glass door for both my mbr and common toilet as well. i read from some forum that some ppl have to hack their existing doorframe before they install the glass door? from the photo above i dont see any door frames? maybe for old flat isit? coz by right, toilet should be fully tiled for new flats correct? oh, one more thing, are we able to choose the degree of opacity for frosted glass doors or does it come standard from manufacturer? hope someone can enlighten.

i dont think the original TS will reply coz this seems quite sometime ago. i am thinking of installing a bath tub, considering between standalone and the normal fixed ones. can someone enlighten me on how the plumbing system would work for a standalone tub? coz it seems that you can place it anywhere? how does the water supply and drainage works then?
